Today, AIA Shared Services Sdn Bhd visited our farm for a volunteering session. They helped clean up the farm and assisted with transplanting work. We also had the opportunity to share how our urban farming system works. For many, it was their first time learning that plants can grow without soil and witnessing the beauty of an aquaponics system in action.

We hope that every organization and individual in our society will embrace sustainability and work together towards a more sustainable future.

Sarawak is Rising.

Urban Farm Tech has been receiving frequent visit requests from the Ministry of digital and representatives from the Sarawak government. It’s clear that Sarawak is eager to explore innovative agritech solutions to empower local communities and pave the way toward a more prosperous future.

Today marks the second visit from a Sarawak delegation, this time led by YB Tuan Kennedy Chukpai Ugon, ADUN N66 Murum, Sarawak. The team visited to better understand how digital technology can support the people of Sarawak—especially the youth—in embracing modern agriculture and working toward a food self-sufficient Sarawak.

We were truly impressed by their humility, warmth, and genuine interest in engaging with us.

We deeply feel their strong commitment to transforming Sarawak into a modern, forward-thinking state that prioritizes the well-being of its people.

A heartfelt thank you to Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Agtech team led by Mr Navin for the collaboration under the AgTech Nationwide Deployment Initiative, which is helping us bring urban farming to every corner of Malaysia. We also extend our gratitude to Cyberview for their continued support in driving this sustainability initiative forward.

Braving the heat with purpose!

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming 20 Interior Design students from INTI College to Urban Farm Tech. Despite the scorching sun, our passion for sharing the vision of urban farming never fades—especially when it means collaborating across disciplines.

At Urban Farm Tech, we’ve always believed that urban farming isn’t just about growing food. It’s about integration—blending agriculture with technology, which led us to develop our own IoT farming system to support modern farmers.

Now, we’re excited to explore a new layer of integration: interior architecture. By merging design with farming, we envision urban farms not just as tech-driven systems, but as aesthetic and functional elements that blend seamlessly into our everyday living spaces.

This visit reaffirms our belief that urban farming will soon become a core part of how we live, design, and interact with our environments. And with passionate young talents like these students, we’re optimistic about a greener, more sustainable future.

Today marks Day 1 of setting up our UFT-South office in Johor!

We’re starting with a small but dedicated space to better serve our customers in the southern region and explore new business opportunities.

We chose to keep things simple—not a luxury office—because every dollar is hard-earned, and we believe in investing where it truly matters to grow the company further.

We look forward to the day when this space becomes a hub for sharing our latest innovations in urban farming with you!

Driving the Future of Digital Agriculture with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Malaysia Digital Economic Corporation (MDEC) & Cyberview

In collaboration with MDEC, Urban Farm Tech was honored to welcome Yang Berhormat Tuan Lidam Assan, ADUN Katibas, Yang Berhormat Tuan Wilson Nyabong Ijang, ADUN Pelagus, and the esteemed delegation from Kapit, Sarawak for a farm visit initiated by the Ministry of Digital.

As an MDEC Digital AgTech partner and Cyberview ESG partner, we showcased how digital innovation is transforming agriculture, enhancing productivity, tackling food security challenges and strengthening urban sustainability. This visit highlighted the critical role of smart farming solutions in advancing Malaysia’s digital economy, fostering a tech-driven agricultural ecosystem.

A heartfelt thank you to MDEC, Kementerian Digital, Cyberview, and all our ecosystem partners for their unwavering support in accelerating digital adoption and agricultural innovation. Together, we are shaping a resilient, self-sustaining future through smart urban farming.

We are pleased to welcome the lecturers from Politeknik Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, to our urban farm to learn about Aquaponics with IoT. We hope that our sharing will help introduce this innovative urban farming method to Sabah, empowering the local community to produce healthy food while embracing digital technology.

Completed one IoT vertical farm for SMK Seri Medan! Worked alongside students to bring the project to life. Despite unexpected challenges, we pushed through and completed it on time.
