Lai Lai (来来) is one of the community dogs roaming around Batu 9. Uncle Lee noticed her with severe wounds on her bum and finally managed to bring her to us for help.

When we asked what name to register her under, Uncle Lee said “Lai Lai”, because 她不知道哪里跑来的 (“she came from who-knows-where”).

We discovered Lai Lai had TVT (transmissible venereal tumor), which required a long course of treatment - once-weekly chemotherapy injections. Despite her tough life on the streets, Lai Lai proved to be a sweet and affectionate soul, a rare gem among strays.

After 1.5 months of care in our clinic, Lai Lai made a full recovery. She’s now back in her familiar territory, and we still spot her from time to time when we pass by. 👀

We would like to thank Uncle Lee for helping Lai Lai get the care she needed. 🥹 We hope she continues to stay safe and sound, and we remain committed to helping more community dogs like her. ❤️

Nana, a senior cat, had some seriously rotten teeth that were causing painful mouth ulcers and needed constant meds—especially steroids—just to get through the day. 😿

After getting them all removed, he's finally feeling so much better: eating well and living his best life again. 🐾

Cosecant, a senior poodle, came to us with early-stage kidney disease and severe dental issues that had slowly robbed him of his appetite. The rotten teeth in his mouth were causing chronic pain and had led to a sinus infection, resulting in persistent flu-like symptoms.

A dental extraction was performed to remove the source of infection and discomfort. Unfortunately, we encountered a complication—Cosecant experienced profuse nosebleeds and sneezing due to sinus irritation. The bleeding eventually subsided but still recurs occasionally..

After almost 10 days of supportive care, we’re happy to share that Cosecant became more active and had a livelier gait. Though he initially required syringe feeding as part of his recovery, he returned for a follow-up today—and we’re thrilled to hear he’s finally eating on his own ❤️‍🩹

𝙉𝙤 𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨. 🥹

We honestly thought Cosecant might not make it, but this brave little fighter pulled through. 🥲 Thank you to his loving owner for never giving up on him and trusting us throughout the journey.

We hope Cosecant continues to get stronger with each passing day. 💪🏻
