Aspire to Bake a Difference. We are housewives who bakes to raise fund for rescues and TNR mission.

The purpose I started this page is because I want to help within my means, hence i figures i could utilize my passion for food & baking! Well... I am not a professional baker, not even the most skilled among my friends. But be reassured I bake from heart with hope that my food satisfied your tummy & put a smile on your face. (secret ingredients: a little sprinkle of Love for dogs)

That day while feeding strays by the roadside, suddenly a polis pull over. We like, “Aiyo, mati lah.”😳

But turns out he wasn’t there to stop us. He wanted to show off the pretty stray dogs he feeds near police hut. Not only that, he proudly told us he’d even joined last year’s Spaython to get them fixed. Respect!🫡

He then casually asked if there’s another Spaython coming up because he’s got one more furkid to spay.

Since MBSP’s Spaython 2.0 just wrapped up last month, I offered him a RM200 spay subsidy voucher courtesy of MBSP. (Yes… for once WE gave a ticket to the police, not the other way around.)🤭😎

And no, it’s NOT a bribe okay!🤭😅 This voucher only valid at the panel vet as deduction upon neutering.

Respect to abang polis👮🏽👮🏽‍♂️ – feeding, fixing, and protecting the strays. Heroes come in many forms, sometimes with badges and biscuits in their pockets.💕🐾💕

Meet which means flower🌸 in Japanese, signify that “every flower has its time to bloom”🥰

She looks serious, we know. But behind that calm gaze is a fragile flower, learning to trust after spending months hiding in the shadows. While Haru struggled with his body, Hana struggled with her heart.❤️‍🩹

She is healthy and full-bodied, with a radiant white coat that shimmers in the light — but always hiding, always watching from a distance. It took months of gentle effort to bring her in safely.

This is Haru, a quiet, shy little soul whose name means “one day” in Korean — a reminder that every day he lives is a blessing.🥰💪🏼

came into this world the tiniest of his litter, with injured limping hind legs, he was so skittish and timid that we barely saw him during feeding time. We didn’t know if he’d survive… but he did.

Day by day, step by step, Haru proved he’s a quiet fighter.

Today, Haru has grown into a soft, beige-coated pup with gentle eyes and adorable dark chocolate ears that flop like they’re made for listening to kindness. His tiny 1-inch tail gives him a unique charm, and his calm, introverted nature makes him ideal for someone with a peaceful home and a big heart.

🐾 Haru is quiet, shy but observant.
🐾 He enjoys resting near warm doors and still treads cautiously, but he’s learning what TRUST feels like.

In 3 days, Haru will be returned to his mother after neutering. We know the odds of finding him a home so soon are slim — but we’re trying anyway. Because he deserves that chance. He deserves more than just surviving another day.🫶💕

🎉 Update: At 7:35pm, just before the last ray of sunset, we finally caught !! 🐶✨

BONUS: Her little brother also went into the trap! These two were the most skittish, totally unapproachable for months🥲 but patience finally paid off. 💪

Huge shoutout to the MVP 🐕 — helped me crowd control when they panicked, barked from outside to calm them, and gave me the backup I needed (since it was just me)!🫶

TNR takes time, teamwork, and so much effort, but it’s life saving!💖

Long Venting Post 😓😩

Yesterday, during a feeding session, a man approached us, claiming to be an animal lover. He showed me his dog who had recently given birth. I suggested he consider spaying her to prevent future litters. He refused, citing his Buddhist beliefs, asserting that spaying interferes with karma and the natural order.😑

He also claimed that scientific research indicates spaying causes health issues like hormonal imbalances, mood swings, diabetes, and even aggression!😳 I had to stop him and calmly explained the pros and cons of spaying. I tried to suggest that many Buddhist perspectives view spaying as an act of compassion to prevent more suffering.🙏🏼

He then recounted how “his friend” refused to reclaim their pet dog from SPCA because they required it to be spayed before returning, hence he left the dog in the shelter rather than accept a spayed pet. 😨🤬

That’s the final straw!!! After 45 minutes of trying to reason, I lost my temper. I expressed my frustration!!🤬🤬🤬🤬Questioning how abandoning a dog due to a refusal to spay, aligns with love and compassion??!!???😪😠

I asked if he would abandon his daughter under similar circumstances, to which he shockingly replied that he would accept her if she were r***d or pregnant but not if she were spayed. 🤯

At that point, I ended the conversation, emphasizing that the benefits of spaying far outweigh potential negatives. If “transferring karma” is the consequence, then I gladly accept it.🙄

🐾Spaying and neutering save lives.🐾
Irresponsible pet owners who refuse to spay or neuter their animals, citing unfounded beliefs or misinformation, significantly hinder TNR efforts. It’s disheartening to see such negligence labeled as ‘love’ for animals.😤

Something caught my eyes while I was waiting for train in a metro station in Bangkok.

There are entire wall billboard ad, features a group of local Thai mongrels. Not fancy breed. Just happy, everyday street dog being celebrated.😍🥰

And it got me thinking… why don’t we see this back home?

In most of our ads, it’s always pedigrees. But truth is: all dogs are the same. Loving, loyal, and just wanting a place to belong.

Maybe it’s time we shine the spotlight on our local stars too? I mean… I’ve got a dozen of supermodel candidates ready😛😆
