💢 Mengganggu jadual klinik – Slot yang boleh digunakan untuk kes lain menjadi terbuang.
💢 Menyebabkan pesakit lain terpaksa menunggu – Kucing lain yang memerlukan rawatan segera mungkin kehilangan peluang.
💢 Membazirkan masa & tenaga staf – Doktor dan staf sudah bersedia untuk anda, tetapi akhirnya sia-sia.
💢 Mengurangkan akses kepada rawatan segera – Terutama bagi kes kecemasan yang memerlukan tindakan cepat.
💢 Sikap tidak bertanggungjawab – Klinik bukan hotel, bukan tempat buat tempahan & batalkan sesuka hati.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE 📢

Starting 9th March 2025, all boarding, warding, and procedures requiring cats to stay at our clinic MUST provide proof of updated flea and deworming treatment, recorded in the vaccination card. This policy is in place to ensure the health of all cats and to prevent the spread of fleas and other parasites.

We reserve the right to refuse admission if flea and deworming treatment is not provided, or if unverified, unlicensed, or non-veterinary-approved products are used.

🐾 This measure is essential to protect all cats from potential health risks caused by parasites. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping our clinic a safe and clean space for all pets! 🐾

‼️ Pyometra in a BENGAL Cat ‼️

A 4-year-old female Bengal cat was brought to our clinic after her owner noticed pink discharge from her v***a.

Upon examination, her body temperature was alarmingly high at 40.5°C. An ultrasound revealed fluid buildup and multiple circular structures inside her uterus, with no signs of fetal development. This led to a diagnosis of open pyometra—a serious and life-threatening infection of the uterus.

She underwent emergency ovariohysterectomy (spay surgery) under general anesthesia. During the procedure, we confirmed the diagnosis—the uterine horns were swollen and filled with pus. Poor girl! 😿

Did you know? Pyometra can be prevented by spaying your female cat! This condition is caused by hormonal imbalances during the reproductive cycle and can be fatal if left untreated.

If your cat is not spayed, watch out for symptoms like unusual discharge, lethargy, and loss of appetite. Prevention is always better than cure! 🩺

‼️ Pyometra pada Kucing Bengal ‼️

Seekor kucing Bengal betina berusia 4 tahun dibawa ke klinik kami selepas pemiliknya melihat lelehan merah jambu keluar dari kemaluannya.

Pemeriksaan klinikal mendapati suhu badannya sangat tinggi, 40.5°C! Pemeriksaan ultrasound menunjukkan terdapat cecair serta struktur bulat di dalam rahimnya, tanpa sebarang tanda pertumbuhan janin. Kes ini disahkan sebagai pyometra terbuka—jangkitan rahim yang serius dan boleh mengancam nyawa.

Kucing ini segera menjalani pembedahan buang rahim dan ovari bawah bius penuh. Semasa pembedahan, rahimnya didapati membengkak dengan nanah yang banyak. Kasihan si comel ini! 😿

Tahukah anda? Pyometra boleh dicegah dengan memandulkan kucing betina anda! Keadaan ini berlaku akibat ketidakseimbangan hormon semasa kitaran reproduktif dan boleh membawa maut jika tidak dirawat.

Jika kucing anda belum dimandulkan, perhatikan tanda-tanda seperti lelehan luar biasa, kelesuan, dan hilang selera makan. Mencegah lebih baik daripada merawat!
