This picture is so very precious to me because not only was this one of the best pet sits it was also a time when Hershey Beso Cota Cota and Machete were still alive. I've had to put down way too many dogs in such a short period. Some times I think that it's not fair. And then I remind myself that my life was so much richer during their time with me. I would rather have the 6 years (Cappuchino died of a kidney disease) the 12 years with Magoo (died of heart disease) or my Hershey Beso Beso Cota at 13 years. He died of cancer. And of course, Machete....my most recent.
