Please, for the love of God, if you are here as you are looking to be a first time rottie owner, do your research.

They are incredibly powerful intelligent dogs.

There won't be a day in their lives you aren't training them.

They are one hell of a commitment and one that shouldn't be taken lightly, especially if you have little people about.

There are so many out there now that's parents haven't been tested for temperament, let alone all the medical issues they might have, so you really don't know what you are getting.

Rottweilers aren't for everyone. In fact in all honesty they are for very few.

If your breeder is asking you to pick your pup, you are on a downward spiral straight away.

Forget those soft brown eyes and cuddly black and tan, study what they will possibly grow too and what their needs will be first.

Hopefully, this might go some way to improving the breed as the real breeders will start to stand out.

Rescues never used to see pups abandoned but now they are coming in from 5 months old for biting.

I know, that's exactly how I came about this one.

Think, they aren't for everyone!!

May is Mental Health Month.
We all face difficulties and it's completely normal to feel anxious, isolated or overwhelmed.

Small steps -- such as exercising regularly 🏃 & practicing mindfulness 🧘‍♀️, eating healthily 🥗 and getting adequate sleep 😴 -- can help improve mental health.
