Animal Rescue Update!
Our team successfully rescued a stray dog and her six puppies in Area 49, Gulliver, Lilongwe, following a call from a concerned resident. The little family is now safe and under the watchful care of our dedicated veterinary team. The decision to report the incident made a life-saving difference! If you see an animal in distress, don’t look away but report it! Together, we can give these animals the safety and love they deserve.

We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with Animal Aid Abroad that kicked off in April and will run until December 2025 - and we’ve hit the ground running! With their incredible support, LSPCA is bringing vital care to Malawi’s hardworking donkeys and the farming families who rely on them every day.

In just the first two months, our mobile clinics reached 591 donkeys across Dowa and Lilongwe districts, providing treatments for wounds, deworming, hoof trimming, and promoting humane harnessing and proper use of donkey carts. We’ve also helped repair broken equipment and reignited community commitment to better donkey welfare.

Thank you, Animal Aid Abroad, for standing with us as we work to improve the lives of Malawi’s donkeys and empower the people who depend on them. Here's to more progress and powerful impact in the months ahead!
