After a brief period employed as a Veterinary Officer with the Department of Veterinary Services, he decided to focus his career in small animal practice. He returned to his books and started taking courses both locally, online, and abroad which culminated in the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in General Small Animal Surgery. This certification represents the commitment towards contin

uous education and improvement in standards of care for patients. Kevin is a member of the Royal College of Veterianry Surgeons, AOVet, and the British Veterinary Orthopedic Association. In his spare time, Kevin likes to spend time with his family and enjoys long walks in the countryside taking pictures and also the occasional spot of coastal fishing.

So happy for Zena, a twelve year old patient treated for ruptured cranial cruciate ligament via TPLO at our clinic.

Fully recovered, she's back to loving her walks......leaving me breathless:)

Her back fur hasn't grown yet, but most importantly, is her coming back to normal.

And the hero of the week is Sparrow. This beautiful and kind cat was referred to us for chronic forelimb lameness.

Radiographs obtained under sedation revealed a lead pellet in the wrist just below the joint between the thumb and index toe.

A very delicate surgery was performed to locate the pellet and remove it safely without causing any damage to neighboring tendons, blood vessels and nerves which abound in that region.

We also removed a number of lead pellets located within the surgical field as wells

Luckily all went well so a complete recovery is expected for this little fellow.

Ps. In the meantime, Sparrow has been adopted and will now spend the rest of his life with his new family. 🤩🎊

Our hero of the week is Luna, 4 month old kitten weighing only 2kg who fell off a balcony last month and sustained a very nasty fracture in her left foot, very close to the joint.

Luna was operated asap and were very pleased to report a complete bone healing and full recovery just four weeks after surgery.

Way to go dear Luna! 🎉🎉🎉
