💊Pilling our pets can be such a hassle!

Here are some of my favourites:
✅tasty creams to mix medication into
✅treat pockets to hide pills within
✅pill poppers
✅crush meds, dissolve in water, syringe into mouth from behind canine slowly
✅"healthy home treats" such as greek yoghurt, cream cheese, low fat hams

❗️Don’t forget to take your pet’s allergies into consideration when choosing a pilling option.
❗️Avoid high-fat items if your pet has — or has ever had — pancreatitis.

🐶Start early. From a young age, get your pet used to “pilling” using treats or supplements. This helps both of you become comfortable with the process, making medication much easier as they grow older.

Pet Microchip Transfers ℹ️🔍🐱🐶

‼️‼️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ‼️‼️

When you adopt or buy a dog that is already microchipped, make sure the microchip transfer form is completed.

The form must be filled in and signed by both the current owner and the new owner, and it must be officially processed. Unfortunately, many people take this lightly or ignore it.

Please be aware that the dog will always remain the legal responsibility of the person whose name is registered on the microchip, no matter how many years the dog has not been in their care. Legally, that person remains the dog’s owner — and the responsibility lies with them.

For this reason, it is extremely important that the microchip ownership is transferred correctly.
