BEL GA MYANMAR LIMITED is a 100% foreign owned company which has recently been established in Myanmar and will be active in poultry business. It is a joint venture between Belgabroed, an established poultry breeding and hatchery company from Belgium, and De Heus Animal Nutrition BV, one of the fifteen largest feed companies in the world with operations in more than 50 countries. ITED will initially focus on the production of Day Old Chickens for the independent broiler meat farmers in Myanmar. The company will start by importing High Quality hatching eggs to Myanmar and hatch in a local hatchery which is expected to be operational by July 2017. These DOCs, originating from the highly specialized breeding Company Aviagen and Cobb-Vantress, will be produced using modern technology and training for the local team members to ensure the highest quality products for our customers. In a second phase, BELGA MMR will invest in parent stock facilities to ensure sustainable supply of high quality hatching eggs.
