It is just not possible that from 11000 fans only 19 people have seen our 3 last posts!

Fb hides posts so we would pay to promote them!

But if you share/ like / comment regulary other people will see our posts too !

FB is killing small rescues like ours that depend on every cent we get as a donation by hiding posts . So please help us fight this fb ridicilous post hiding with a share or a comment !

She was found on the railway station in Gevgelija Macedonia..an year and a half ago..

While thousands of refugees were passing our town in their way to Europe. We found her in this chaos crumpled in a corner with an open wound a few days old..
The blood was dark and stinky..She was dying..
She was going to die due to someone’s reckless driving – a foolishness that did the driver no harm, but the same cannot be said for her, for she lost a leg.
When she was certain that her life was to be cut short, hope finally looked her way.

Saved from the harsh streets, Arya was facing a new challenge – to survive the four operations (for her leg) that followed.
The injury was great, the wound was rotten and full with worms.
Luckily, this brave dog fought for her life and survived the operations.

But the battle wasn’t over for her yet. After the sterilization, due to the fact that she is missing her back leg, the wound often opened and urgent interventions had to be undertaken.
Of course this didn’t stop her to fight or lose the will to live.

Today she is totally normal dog, like a child.. She is good with other dogs and cats also..she loves children..

Arya is a happy and carefree dog. She is quiet, she doesn’t bark for no reason and loves to be in the center of attention. She is not an animal with handicap, she is unique. She is not a dog with flaws, she is a special soul. She is not a victim, she is a fighter.
So, she is looking for forever home.

This is a post that we never wanted to write. A post we are struggling to write because we don’t know how to find the words. A post we are struggling to write because we don’t want to share the horror of what we have found. A post we are struggling to write because it makes us feel ashamed of the human race; ashamed of Macedonia.

Last week whilst working at the petrol station, Monika met a man that was dumping a female dog and her pups at the landfill on the outskirts of Veles. This landfill is a disgrace - a disease-ridden dumping ground that is burned by the municipality every 6 months to clear it - waste management from the dark ages!

Our rescuers went there immediately and they were not prepared for what they found: over 100 abandoned dogs and puppies. Their only food being rubbish and rotting bodies of other dumped animals that had perished.

We will campaign for an end to this horrendous practice. We need to educate Macedonians that this is not acceptable. We need an end to corruption and needless poverty at the hands of the government and municipalities.

But our main priority at this time is to rescue these dogs...every single one of them!

As most of you know, we are currently caring for 200 dogs. We literally have nowhere to take any more dogs...so we need a plan...

We are looking to buy some land and expand our shelter. Our current shelter is on rented land and we have always made sure that everything we have built and developed can be moved when the time came to expand...and that time is now.

We have always had a dream for a purpose-built shelter. A shelter with all the facilities needed to ensure the best possible care for animals in need. A shelter with an on-site veterinary clinic. A place where we can develop a programme for assistance and therapy dogs. A sanctuary for animals and people ❤️

We realise this is a MAMMOTH task and we are setting ourselves up with a HUGE challenge. But we have to do this and we need your help more than ever.

We are calling on any Macedonians that could foster any of these dogs to contact us. We will provide support, food and veterinary treatment.

We are calling on the other Macedonian rescues and NGOs to please work with us and help us to find places for these dogs.

And we are calling on you - our supporters - to help us by sharing this post with all of your contacts, international rescue groups, celebrity animal advocates, your MPs/ councillors and media. We need to be loud and clear. Macedonia - the world is watching...and we are utterly ashamed.

This is one of the 4 puppies fighting for life. Anyone familiar with the virus distemper knows that it is highly contagious and it is the biggest nightmare for a rescuer to find out that has a dog with distemper.
STORY: Dear all we usually ask you to share our rescues and our fundraisers and help us help as many animals as we can. this time we are writing to ask you for help for 3 puppies that an amazing women and a very dear friend of ours has rescued. Maybe you remember the dog rescued from the streets when the temperatures reached -28*C, Stephany, Stephany was having serious respiratory problems and was first diagnosed with bronchitis. A lady called Viki took her home after rescuing 3 other puppies just week before she found this poor soul. although she is not a member of any rescue group or an organisation she has saved and changed the lives of many strays with the little help she gets from close friends. But this time she can't do it on her own. After she noticed that Stephany' condition wasn't improving she visited another vet for a second opinion. this time the world crushed on her when she heard that Stephany has the nasty Distemper virus and it is in terminal phase. She loved her soo much in her last days and has suffered so much after her death.. But her ordeals have just started. The puppies she rescued the week before she found Stephany were in her home when she took her home, so now they all have the virus. they all tested positive and are fighting for life. she had to take them to a clinic where they are in a quarantine and receiving serum and therapies for the virus. the therapies cost a fortune but that didn't stop her to provide them the urgent medical care they need! so what I am asking is to help with small donation. every cent counts. If there is someone who I admire for their rescue work- that is this lady - Viki Dimitrova
