Think of flowers, you don’t fix the flower if it’s struggling to grow, you fix the environment it is in.
Dogs don’t need fixing. They aren’t broken. They need to have their species specific needs meet, suitable environments for their individual needs, medical care, healthy diets, outlets to engage with the natural environment, quality time, positive social experiences from a very early age, rest etc.
Often it isn’t about changing the dog, it’s about meeting their needs and changing their environment so they can thrive.
