Wędrując po marokańskich wioskach, trudno nie dostrzec, że Berberowie mają w sobie coś wyjątkowego — naturalną radość, która nie potrzebuje gadżetów, prestiżu czy błyskotek. To spokojna, ciepła energia, którą emanują i którą bezinteresownie dzielą się z otoczeniem.
W Europie często dajemy się pochłonąć kulturze przedmiotu. Nasze domy są pełne rzeczy — pięknych, przydatnych, czasem zupełnie zbędnych. Otaczamy się wygodą, ale czy zawsze znajdujemy w niej spokój?
Berberyjskie domy w Maroku są urządzone skromnie, bez przepychu. Ale właśnie w tej prostocie rozkwita to, co najważniejsze: rodzinna atmosfera. To epicentrum życia — wspólne posiłki, śmiech dzieci, rozmowy przy herbacie. Tam liczy się obecność, nie posiadanie.
