THEY NEED YOUR HELP!
4 tomcats and 4 kitties live in 5 Rezeknes Street, all sterilized. In spring there were more cats there, but unfortunately, not all of them have survived since then. A self-confident lodger from the house might have poisoned the cats, who knows. However, some new stray cats appear in the cat street community from time to time…
That is life, some people try to the stray cats’ life better while others like to cause them harm.
The cats survive at the place, they make it their home. Indeed, where else can they go? And so they live with junk all around. The junk surely protects the stray cats neither from cold weather nor from wild dogs and bad people. One of the cats, a little ginger, cannot get into the junk hole and has to sleep nearby, or to slip into the house door inside, from which he usually gets kicked off by the unkind locals.
Cold is coming. How many stray cats will survive the winter is uncertain. The house manager doesn’t let volunteers establish outdoor shelters for the cats right near the house. Luckily, there is a space next to the house which is under the city government authority. The bad neighbours cannot set rules there, so that is the place where volunteers can build up an outdoor shelter for the local stray cats.
While the cats are waiting for a big warm permanent outdoor shelter that costs 160 euro, we have built and stand 4 little temporary houses, because it is already cold for staying in the street at night. A temporary house costs 7 euro, so we need 188 euro in total. When the big house is installed, the little temporary houses will go to other stray cats.
The poor speechless creatures beg us for help. They are entirely dependent on us. Let us strongly oppose evil and do a kind deed for the stray cats. Help us build the outdoor shelters so they can survive.
