During the two-day FIFe - Fédération Internationale Féline General Assembly 2026 delegates discussed a wide range of important topics, including FIFe governance, breeding and registration regulations, judges’ activities, cat show organization, breed standards, as well as cat health and welfare.

The Lithuanian Felinological Society Bubastė is proud to have hosted the most important FIFe event for the first time in history in Vilnius.

It was a valuable opportunity to contribute to the work of the international feline community, exchange experience, and take part in decisions shaping the future of FIFe

The FIFe General Assembly in Vilnius reaffirmed a commitment to cat health, welfare, improved standards, and a more efficient organization, while maintaining a preference for stability in governance.

We are proud that the Lithuanian Felinology Society Bubastė community had the honor of hosting this landmark event in Vilnius — the first FIFe - Fédération Internationale Féline General Assembly ever held in Lithuania — and contributing to the work of the international feline community. ❤️

American Cat Breeders Association (ACBA) 🇺🇸 pasidalijo pirmuoju savo edukacinės serijos „FIFe for Newbies“ epizodu, skirtu visiems, norintiems geriau pažinti FIFe pasaulį. Aiškiai, suprantamai ir su entuziazmu – būtent taip prasideda geri projektai.
