A gentle reminder from a vet’s heart 🐾

We recently rescued a tiny kitten who came to us with a painful neck wound after being bitten by another cat in the home. Thankfully, with proper care and patience, this little one is now on the road to recovery ❤️

Introducing a new pet into your home isn’t always as simple as it seems. Even the most loving pets can react with fear, stress, or territorial behavior when faced with a newcomer. Sudden introductions can lead to serious injuries—just like this case.

If you’re bringing a new pet home:• Take it slow—gradual introductions are key• Keep them separated at first and allow scent familiarization• Supervise all interactions closely• Never force them together• Seek professional advice if needed

Every pet deserves a safe and stress-free environment. A little patience can prevent a lot of pain.

Let’s keep our furry friends safe 💛

🩺 Successful Soft-Tissue Tumor Removal – Case Update from Ranweli Animal Hospital

Today we managed a challenging case involving a 9-year-old dog presented with a large soft-tissue tumor located in the thoracic/axillary region. The mass was significantly enlarged and ulcerated at the time of admission.

The patient was stabilized and taken into surgery, where we successfully performed a complete tumor excision. The procedure proceeded without complications, and all abnormal tissue was safely removed. Post-operative bleeding was minimal, and the surgical site has been securely dressed.

The patient is now recovering under close monitoring, receiving analgesics and antibiotics to support healing.

We are hopeful for a smooth recovery and will continue to provide follow-up care to ensure the best possible outcome.

Today we treated a poor cat suffering from paracetamol poisoning. 😿

Please remember — cats cannot metabolize paracetamol like humans do. Even a tiny amount can cause severe liver damage or death.

💊 Never give paracetamol or any human medicine to your cat!
If your pet seems unwell, always consult your vet first. 💚
