“Lucky”, a 13-year-old intact female Dachshund, was presented to us with vomiting and abnormal abdominal distension. An ultrasound examination revealed a large abdominal mass.
Our surgical team proceeded with exploratory surgery and successfully removed a large ovarian tumor. Considering Lucky’s advanced age and the extremely fragile nature of the mass, the procedure required careful and precise surgical handling.
We are happy to share that the surgery was successful, and Lucky has now made a full recovery and is doing well. 🐾
