Aloka is the gentle dog who quietly joined a group of Buddhist monks on their Walk for Peace.
She wasn’t trained. She wasn’t owned.
She simply chose to walk alongside them.

Day after day, Aloka moved at their pace—resting when they rested, walking when they walked—becoming a living symbol of compassion, trust, and calm. Her name, Aloka, means “light”, and many believe she truly embodied it on the road.

This wasn’t about fame or commands.
It was about different beings sharing one peaceful path.

Sometimes, peace doesn’t speak.
It just walks—on four legs.
