Canine Distemper is a serious, highly contagious viral disease that poses a significant threat to the health and well-being of dogs. It affects dogs of all ages and can result in severe respiratory, gastrointestinal, and neurological complications, often leading to permanent damage or death if left unaddressed.

Due to the increased risk in the surrounding area, we strongly urge all pet owners to ensure their dogs are up to date with their Distemper vaccination to help prevent the spread of this life-threatening disease.

Distemper is a viral disease that attacks the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems of dogs. It spreads through coughs, sneezes, or shared food/water bowls—even before symptoms appear.

Fever
Coughing and sneezing
Eye and nose discharges
Vomiting or diarrhea
Loss of appetite and energy
Muscle twitching or seizures (in advanced stages)

Another life saved! 🕊️❤️

Today, Mr. Thanuja brought in yet another severely injured pigeon — this time, attacked by an eagle 🦅. The poor bird was in critical condition when it arrived at Healthy Pets Animal Clinic.
Thanks to the swift action and incredible expertise of Dr. Nayomi, one of the most experienced veterinary surgeons around, the pigeon underwent emergency surgery and survived!
We're truly grateful to Dr. Nayomi for her dedication, compassion, and skill. 🙏

⚠️Don’t ever put rubber bands on your innocent pets & always teach your kids to treat them kindly as those traps can easily kill them💔

We got ‘Wonky’ the cat🐈with this massive cut after having a rubber band trapped around his neck for days😐It was good timing that project noticed & rushed him to the clinic before it’s cutting deep into the bones so fortunately we could save him after a well performed surgery❤️ And Wonky is all healed in 10 days🐱
