The first manufacturing plant was commissioned in year 1996 in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka to cater to the growing milk production market in the province. The Eastern province is the number one in terms of milk production in the Country, predominately small scale local and household farmers are engaged in the Industry. With the expansion of the Industry and with the Expansion of Poultry farm

s in the province, the second automated factory was established in the year 2011 to cater to the growing demand. This enabled the Company to increase its capacity and maintain a high level of quality and consistency. With the introduction of the new facility, a wide range of products are introduced to the market commonly as “animal feed”. Under the brand Gopi Foods, the entire range of Poultry and Cattle feed is supplied to the Sri Lankan market.
