I was in my back garden and saw this tiny thing walking down the road outside my fence. At first I thought that it was a bird. I looked again and realised that it was a tiny kitten. So small. Just about 3 weeks old. I called my neighbour and she picked her up for me as i didn't wamt my dogs to see her. Her eyes were partly closed and her breathing was bad. I thought that she had an eye infection. She stayed with my grand daughter in a bedroom and slept on her body for warmth. I had to keep her srparste ftom my dogs. I rang my friends Oshan and Dedunu to ask them to help me to take her for a weeks untill we find a home for her. They thankfully came straight away and took her. They started her on goats milk but she was really struggling to drink as her breathing was bad. They took her to the Vet and was told that she has the deadly cat flu. I was so scared she eould not make it but thanks to this kind couple she pulled through. They fed her every two hours with milk, medicated her and took her to the vets fur regukar injections. All their hard work has paid off and she is now a happy little kitty called Bella! She warmed theur hearts so much thst they hsbe kept her& she is so hsppy with their other cats! Thank you for your kindness Oshan and Dedunu. Bella won't be alive without you. X

4 puppies were thrown away near the church on the side where there is a huge danger from monitor lizards! The owner had made a little shelter with wood and leaves at least but they had been abandoned. We started feeding them and tried very hard to find people to take them but it was so difficult! Eventually we got lucky and a kind security gentleman in the school took all 4 to his home!! I have vaccinated and treated them for worms & they will be getting steralized in August when they turn 6 months. We have also given this kind gentleman mange cream to apply to them as their skin and fur was showing signs of it. They are cared for by him and his family now & he said that if we get them neutered, he will keep all four! I am just so greatful for these kind people and to have a happy story to share with you all!

I have had family visiting for this first time this year so I took a few days off from rescue work. After I dropped the family off at the airport, I came home to this male puppy in my garden! He looks in really good condition so I think he has wandered away from home looking for ladies as he is not neutered! Please get in contact if you recognise him, he is about 7 months old! I will be neutering and vaccinating him this week. I cannot keep him as he does not get on with my dogs! What a handsome chap! Please share if you are in the area too! X

This poor doggy had puppies in the school grounds on the 30th. She was pregnant before we could steralise her. 😔. I got her a blanket today and we put it where there is shelter so her and the four puppies will hopefully stay dry. Hopefully things will go well for her and the little babies. She is well fed by us and the kind security guard in the school is keeping an eye on her!!

Happy New Year to my friends, family and supporters. The work we doesn't stop for the holidays & we are so grateful for every donation we get!

Let's hope for more kindness and generosity in 2026!!
