4 puppies were thrown away near the church on the side where there is a huge danger from monitor lizards! The owner had made a little shelter with wood and leaves at least but they had been abandoned. We started feeding them and tried very hard to find people to take them but it was so difficult! Eventually we got lucky and a kind security gentleman in the school took all 4 to his home!! I have vaccinated and treated them for worms & they will be getting steralized in August when they turn 6 months. We have also given this kind gentleman mange cream to apply to them as their skin and fur was showing signs of it. They are cared for by him and his family now & he said that if we get them neutered, he will keep all four! I am just so greatful for these kind people and to have a happy story to share with you all!

I have had family visiting for this first time this year so I took a few days off from rescue work. After I dropped the family off at the airport, I came home to this male puppy in my garden! He looks in really good condition so I think he has wandered away from home looking for ladies as he is not neutered! Please get in contact if you recognise him, he is about 7 months old! I will be neutering and vaccinating him this week. I cannot keep him as he does not get on with my dogs! What a handsome chap! Please share if you are in the area too! X

Remember this mummy and her pups? She has now fully recovered from Distemper after nearly 6 months of medications, injections and vitamins!! We will be neutering her as soon as we can. Her puppies are 5 weeks old now and will be vaccinated soon!

This poor doggy had puppies in the school grounds on the 30th. She was pregnant before we could steralise her. 😔. I got her a blanket today and we put it where there is shelter so her and the four puppies will hopefully stay dry. Hopefully things will go well for her and the little babies. She is well fed by us and the kind security guard in the school is keeping an eye on her!!

Happy New Year to my friends, family and supporters. The work we doesn't stop for the holidays & we are so grateful for every donation we get!

Let's hope for more kindness and generosity in 2026!!

This is one of the TVT Cancer doggies found on our feeding round. She was also covered in ticks and fleas. Luckily for us, the kind family who feeds some street dogs in that area said that if we can treat her and get her neutered, they will take her.

So the vet gave her Chemo drugs and treated her for tick and fleas. Two weeks after the second Chemo treatment was given, she was also neutered.

The TVT Cancer has healed and now she is happy with her new family and their cat!! They have named her Kalu, which means black in Singhalese ❤️

A lovely success story!! Thank you to those that donate and make this work possible! Xx

Meet Kitty!! This poor little cat was thrown over my friend Shirani's fence! We have neutered and vaccinated her but she unfortunately developed a horrible prolapse! Luckily we were able to get her back to the vet and operated on in time. She is happy and healthy now and she has been rehomed 💜 xx

Sorry for the lack of posts, I have been visiting family for some well needed respite.

While I was gone my dedicated helpers have treated many dogs with distemper. This horrible virus is entirely preventable through vaccination but sadly no one does that here.

Also a plea to those in the UK, please vaccinate your dogs. This is a terrible illness to see and the recovery chances are low.

It causes horrible neurological problems and intense pain for the animal. Despite this we have managed to treat a few dogs over the last three months and they have survived!! Pictured below are some of the animals we have treated, as well as treating for other conditions such as mange.

I'm so thankful we have been able to help some of the doggies. Thank you to those that donate regularly, without you this wouldn't be possible! xx

These poor puppies were thrown over my fence, tied in a bag!! If I wasn't in the garden my dogs would have killed them!! How can people do things like this to innocent puppies?? I have wormed then and treated them for mange. I am praying I can rehome them!!

Early in the morning a few days ago some terrible person has left three tiny kittens outside our fence. Thank god we managed to get them before the dogs or they would have killed them! They are in one of the bedrooms now, fed and watered. Please keep everything crossed we find a good home for them!! They are so small :(
