Leo, Dina's son, made it through FIP. We cured him ❤️
came back to us to celebrate him and this is what she said:

"Thank you .lb team for taking care of Leo during his 98-days traumatizing journey with FIP. One month after and counting [God's willing], Leo is healthy, happy and charming again.

Dr. Thouraya, Dr. Ali, and Drs. Charbel, Maria and Yara, your compassionate care, professionalism and commitment have saved Leo's life, and for that we will always be grateful. You never failed to be there for us, day, night and even on weekends. Always ensuring to minimise his stress whatever it takes.

Faten, you were the guardian angel of Leo during his stays in the clinic, and we love you so much. Antony thank you for your endless smile and support. Charbel Abdallah, we would have never managed it without you by our side.

That's why I disappeared for so long.

I admit, I haven't been taking good care of you guys lately. We haven't been connecting much and sharing thoughts and medical information.

Luckily, it was all because of something positive. I was getting ready to tie the knot with the love of my life Salim while studying to become an ultrasonographist abroad and handling the clinic all together.

Breast cancer in pets, also known as mammary gland tumors, is a common condition, especially in female dogs and cats that haven't been spayed. They can affect both genders but are rare in male pets.

😟 Are they all bad?

Tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous) that have the potential to spread to other parts of the body.

👁🔎What to look for?

Lump or mass in the mammary area, swelling, discharge from the ni***es.

💊⚔️What can be done?

Treatment options often include surgery to remove the tumor and surrounding tissue.

💀 How bad is it?

Depends on the tumor's type, size, and stage. Early detection and intervention improve the chances of a positive outcome.

🤔 How do I prevent it??

Spaying female pets before their first heat cycle significantly reduces the risk of developing mammary tumors.

On women's day, I wish every mom and hard worker, including Faten our clinic's front desk, every dreamer and achiever, including Maria our Junior Vet and every young female leader including myself a very happy women's day.

Us women deserve every compliment, every support and every beautiful thing that comes our way.

Today, we remember that even if we might be crying on woman's day, better days will come ahead because as for women, nothing is impossible.

Let's appreciate us three today for shaping The Vet Clinic the way it is today, the way you have always known us.

One last thought, sorry for the late post but yes, I have been working until this moment and couldn't find any other moment to post but now. Things never come easy, struggles never fade away but we become stronger by the day.
