Lebanon is going through so much — and so are the forgotten animals.
In June, only a few small donations came in, and now the food is almost gone... We're extremely anxious and worried 😭

We need to raise 3,765 USD to feed 53 dogs and 2 rescued donkeys — as well as the strays we daily feed (make sure you check the last slide) and we need it fast!!!
With prices rising and uncertainty growing, securing food now is critical. We have less than TWO weeks!

Our animals are safe and happy today because of you… but that could change without your help.
Please don’t let empty bowls undo everything we’ve fought for.

Only heartless people abandon their dogs, right?

What would you call a person who dumps their SMALL vulnerable house dog, on a busy highway?

The dog was terrified, dirty, panting, trying to attack everyone out of fear, just to fend for herself... She was traumatized 😭😭😭

We still cannot believe that after 2 and a half hours, we managed to catch her.

It was an amazing collaboration with some residents of Yarze, Jamhour and an amazing couple from Hazmieh. We wish we remembered the names to thank each and every one of you: from the delivery guy who tried to stop, to the employees of the shops, to the military men, to every kind person who offered water 🙏

Thank you for helping us out, to save a soul from being run over... We hope this post will reach you.

The sweet dog is safe and she's under our care, we named her KIWI.

Kiwi is young (2 to 3 y.o), vaccinated and will be spayed ASAP. She's good with cats and other dogs.

She was full of ticks so we gave her the needed treatment, cleaned her but unfortunately, we had to shave her to treat the bites and infections...

We're teaching KIWI to trust people again and we're looking for the best forever home for her, that will never abandon her again.

When we think we've seen the worst, things get even worse... DO NOT swipe if you have a weak heart but please take a moment to read and help, if you can 💔

These dogs were “rescued” by someone who turned out to be a hoarder, trapped in neglect despite many attempts to free them.

Poor dogs, chained in filth and pain — one taken, one left behind with a paw so damaged, only amputation can ease the suffering.

So many tried. So many failed.
Lots of people attempted but couldn’t free them.
But we opted for something different: kindness, compassion, patience… and it worked.

When we stepped in, we didn’t fight — we reasoned. And it worked. The man finally said yes!!!

The pitbull has been taken in by another shelter (slide 3), but the white dog, suffering with a severely injured paw, is still waiting for help.

The dog is extremely aggressive (slide 4) except when he's with the kind-hearted person who reported him. We think he knows that we will never hurt him 😞

Today, this brave soul needs immediate surgery.

After he got injured, his "guardian" wanted to give him to shepherds to "cut" his paw 😭😭😭

We're glad we managed to convince him otherwise.

Amputation is needed, but so is love — and now, together, we can give this poor broken dog a chance...

We need to raise funds for his blood tests and treatment (he needs IV for 5 to 7 days) to control the infections = 350 USD
And the discounted price for his 2 in 1 surgery is another 400 USD (amputation+neutering)

Total = 750 USD

Adopt FREYA 🩷🩷🩷

After the accident that took the life her of guardian, Freya was depressed and broken - especially that the family sadly let her go and she found herself all alone, on the streets to fend for herself... (check the reel we posted last month)

We took her under our care and weeks later, she started showing her beautiful smile. She's been flourishing! 🌸

Thanks to our wonderful angels, we spayed her and fully vaccinated her.

She stayed with us for a while and later, with our very own Kim who worked on her rehab, socialization and crate training.

We're looking for the BEST family to welcome her.

Happy Easter from little Zoë and her wonderful foster mom! 🐰

Zoë was suffering from a "re**al prolapse" which means that a part of her intestine was out of her tiny body 💔 (warning: graphic video in the last slide)

She was used for breeding, spent years inside a cage, which also led to a deformity in her back legs...

When she wasn't useful for breeding anymore, these monsters left her to her fate.

We had to do 2 urgent surgeries. But thanks to the love and care she received, she is recovering perfectly 🥰

Please stop encouraging breeders.
Please adopt, don't shop.
Please foster, if you can't adopt. Fostering = keeping a dog temporarily, it's a very selfless act and also saves lives! 🤍

TWO new rescues in less than TWO hours...
We are posting the first story now and the second, that's even more shocking, on another day 💔

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ 🙏

We named her Zoë.
Dumped at our door, this dog has part of her large intestine outside of her body. She's crying from pain 😭

We rushed her to the closest clinic to stabilize her and later, to the hospital because she needs an urgent surgery to save her life and ease her pain.

She's young, tiny (less than 10 kg), most probably used for breeding and now dumped when she got sick 😢
She's full of ticks, as shown in the videos and she also has a skin condition. Her nose is dehydrated, her ears are infected.

We were NOT supposed to take any more dogs. Yet, heartless people are abandoning their own pets where we live!

Zoë's 2 in 1 surgery (prolapse + spaying), medical care and hospital stay will cost us 600 USD. Check the stories for more details.

We haven't even covered Kataleya's cancer treatment and we have too many other medical bills accumulating.

Honored to be the first ever in Lebanon to be celebrated for work in Animal Welfare at the Presidential Palace by the First Lady, on Women's Day.

I was chosen, along with 30 other women from different fields, to talk about my project, as the founder of and to speak about my vision: a nation where all living beings are respected and valued.

A proud moment for all animal welfare activists, as we break new ground and shine a light on the importance of compassion and kindness, in our country.

Grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the strength, resilience and achievements of strong women everywhere.

Here's to continuing to inspire and uplift each other and create change!

How heartless can a person be, to drive from the city to another town, open the door of their NEW Range Rover, put a dog on the sidewalk and leave? 💔

How merciless can a "human" be, to abandon their tiny dog, who has a massive TUMOR, right before the storm? 💔

When will our society understand that animals are not disposables? They are family! If a child gets sick, would his parents dump them at an orphanage or on the road???

When they saw this scene, the kind people who contacted us immediately rushed to save the dog, they didn't even take a photo of the car plate number...
They couldn't believe what they witnessed!!!

The dog is safe now, with one of our trusted fosters. They decided to name her Cataleya 🌸

She was taken to the vet hospital for a checkup, blood tests, and hopefully, a surgery will be scheduled soon.

🛑🛑🛑 We're at a breaking point 💔💔💔

Our charity is hitting rock bottom and we need immediate help. The lives of 50+ dogs, stray cats and 2 donkeys depend on us. Our furry friends are in desperate need of your support.

The mounting bills are overwhelming and our resources became extremely limited, due to the consecutive crises and instability in Lebanon.

For the first time since 2018, we have ZERO funds to place our upcoming monthly food order.
And this is SCARY... We have till Monday to secure 1,000 USD.

Our strong and good looking boy is still looking for a forever home but he's still misbehaving from time to time 🤭

Story: we rescued him last summer, right before the war began, with a huge wound on his neck and shoulders. He totally healed now.
ZORO is a husky shepherd mix, neutered and vaccinated.

Despite his serious face, he still plays like a puppy 🥰

He destroyed TWO mats and 1 blanket today... He's trying to play the innocent card with his puppy eyes.

Grayson is up for adoption! He's freshly groomed, clean and ready to find his forever home 🤍🕴🏻

Fostering is very rewarding and will allow Grayson to enjoy the comfort of a home.

Grayson is the pup we saved last summer, after he was reported to us in the middle of the night. He was bleeding excessively (check his rescue story the previous reels). He definitely had a family that abandoned him in a remote area. He couldn't fend for himself and was badly attacked on the streets.
We calles a vet in the area to urgently treat his wounds, on the spot, because the roads were too dangerous to immediately hospitalise him. We treated him and he's doing great now.

Grayson has not only an amazing face and gorgeous eyes, but also has a good character. He's healthy now, neutered and vaccinated.
