Last Chance for Korean Dogs

LCKD is a dog rescue located in South Korea. We organize international adoptions to Canada, Europe and the U.S to bring our rescue dogs to their forever homes.

Last Chance for Korean Dogs (LCKD) is a non-profit dog rescue based in South Korea. We are a 100% volunteer run organization dedicated to rehabilitating and saving as many dogs as possible from euthanasia in high-kill shelters and the dog meat trade. We organize international adoptions with loving families in Canada, Europe, and the United States. We rescue Jindos, mixed-breeds, seniors, puppies,

and dogs in urgent need of medical care or safe shelter. After rescue intake, we provide medical care and rehabilitate rescues at our shelter, foster homes and training facility in South Korea until they are healthy enough for adoption. Once rehabilitated, our dogs are placed for international adoption, and we coordinate the full process including vaccinations, health checks, travel prep, and flight volunteers. Where We Adopt To:

Meet Tteokguk 🐶🤍

At the time of his rescue, Sebom’s leg was in a poor condition, with a deep wound assumed to be from a snare trap. The vet had to even consider amputation of the leg, and we got told it would be with poor prognosis. Despite all these, Sebom kept showing the urge to get better, and is continuing to recover like a miracle! We are hoping that Sebom’s family will reach out for him soon, who will give him lots of love he deserves 🌱

Meet Tteokguk 🐶🤍

Tteokguk is a sweet, gentle boy with the softest heart. He may be shy around new people at first, but once he feels safe, his affectionate and loving personality shines through.

He’s a calm companion who is fully outdoor potty trained, has no separation anxiety, and is perfectly happy relaxing at home on his own. Tteokguk prefers a peaceful lifestyle and asks for very little, making him an easy dog to live with.

On walks, unfamiliar people can make him a little nervous, so he may try to keep his distance. He’s also more comfortable around female and smaller dogs than large male dogs.
