TOMMY IS HOME SAFE AFTER 9 DAYS!

What an incredible rescue story! Tommy had just arrived from Korea when he slipped away at YVR Airport — one of the loudest, busiest, and most dangerous areas for a lost dog.

Parker and Julia from Petsearchers were called in, and after searching every corner of the parking lots and terminals, they shifted focus to quieter areas nearby. There he was — hiding deep in the bushes just off a busy airport road. A trap was set, but Tommy had other plans and moved north toward the industrial and forested areas, full of coyotes and heavy traffic.

Sightings soon came in from a fuel yard and YVR Wildlife Control, who spotted him near the runway. Cameras and traps were set, and Tommy cautiously checked one out — halfway in before backing out. Then, he disappeared again.

After remapping the area, Parker and Julia placed new bait stations and cameras — and finally, Tommy reappeared! A freshly baited trap was moved into position, and this time, he went all the way in. Safe at last!

Back at the office, Tommy’s true personality came out — wagging his tail, giving kisses, and asking for scratches. Such a sweet, gentle soul.

Huge thanks to the RCMP, YVR staff, Wildlife Control, and the many industrial sites who gave access to their properties. Special thanks to Karen McKay for helping on-site with food and watch, and to everyone who called in sightings, shared posts, and kept Tommy in their thoughts.

After 9 days on the run, Tommy is finally safe.

Tommy: White male rescue dog is missing since October 9, 2025 on Sea Island in Richmond, and last seen at 2:30pm on North service Road running eastbound past Jetset. Tommy is 20 lbs, all white, and wearing a red harness. If sighted or found, please contact PETSEARCHERS at 604-339-5680.

🐶 귀머거리 잉글리쉬 쉽독 ‘베카’, 입양됐습니다! 🧡

베카는 4살이 되던 해,
무슨 이유에선지본가 마당 한쪽으로 보내졌습니다.
그렇게 배설물이 가득한 바닥,
얼어붙은 물, 초록색 고인 물,
썩은 음식과 함께 또 다른 4년을 버텼습니다.

그리고 8살이 된 어느 날,
주인은 베카를 다른 곳으로 계속 보내려했고 우리는 홍보를 시작했습니다.
그리고 한 명의 임보 희망자가 나타났습니다.
홍보글을 보고 임보를 결심해주신 이 분은
직접 구조 현장까지 와주셨고,
베카는 그렇게 구조될 수 있었습니다.

🛁 병원 검진을 받고,
✂️ 온몸을 덮은 갑옷 같은 털을 밀고,
🏡 임시보호가 시작되었습니다.

그런데… 베카는 귀가 들리지 않았습니다.
그동안 아무도 몰랐던, 조용한 세상을 혼자 살아온 아이였어요.
⠀
그럼에도 베카는 사람을 향해 꼬리를 흔들었고,
사랑을 받아들이기 시작했습니다.
⠀
그리고 마침내,
임보자님께서 베카를 가족으로 맞이해주셨습니다.
이보다 더 완벽한 결말이 있을까요?

After years of neglect, chained on dirty ground with frozen water and rotten food, she was rescued just in time.

Her new life full of happiness begins today.
