Typically you only see the good but I will post it all!
This mare is a personal horse of mine and some of you may remember her from 2yrs ago when I had her in for training.
I’ve had her back just over a month and she’s made great progress but with how reactive she is, she is going to have bad days. Yesterday was one of them. I took her to A&A Barrel Series just to go out and do it. No expectations besides doing the patterns correct and see everything.
Not sure what made her react this way but after this she walked out and did well the rest of the evening.
But this can happen with any horse no matter how much you ride at home. Most will act different in new places and sometimes things will get out of hand for a moment and what isn’t shown is I petted her and reassured her that she was okay

As most know I’m back in Michigan and will be offering training and lessons again!
Offering traveling training and lessons and hopefully will have a barn to train out of here real soon once I get more details on it.

Well now that the last horse has left. I have decided to stop training after lots of thought!
I’m getting burnt out for different reasons. It’s been a fun 6 years of taking in client horses but I’m ready to focus on my own!
Now with that being said I will still help you with a horse if needed but I don’t have the time to put x amount of days on them, maybe a week or two but we’d have to discuss that. I’m working on getting the arena fixed and back to being good dirt and then people can haul over.
Life is changing and I need to focus on my own young prospects.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me this far and for all the wonderful clients I have had! I enjoyed working with each and every horse but it’s time for a break.
In the future I might take some on again and if I do I will make a post but it won’t be for at least over a year.

Horses had a pedicure day yesterday!
Brought horses home as well but three will be heading to a friends tonight to eat down some pasture, Bandit starts training this weekend and I’m excited to see how he does!
Smokey was a queen for her trimming.
Both ponies got rode. Finally able to get on piper and walk him around without blowing up but he still feels like he will blow at any chance he can. Danny had a short ride and did good as usual.
Gigi owner came out and rode her since I was behind from farrier and had a good ride on her!
Here’s to a great summer of riding and training!

Update time since life has been so busy!

Gigi came to get a refresher on western and lope worked on, she’s a really cool mare and I’m very happy to be able to work with her

Also just added this pretty grey mare to the herd today who was a recip mare at a friends barn that came from Utah originally!
Watched her move and decided to take the chance with her! Don’t know how long it’s been since she’s been rode but she rode off great last night and she has some fancy buttons on her! Very pleased with how she went to work so nicely

Took Rocky for his first trail ride ever and did it solo! Gun shots and 40+ deer running through the woods never phased him!
