Dating a lady with a child is not for weak boys.

I remember this one time I dated this lady because I was convinced that being a stepfather isn't bad. Yoh! That kid didn't feel me at all. He would just stand and look at me without saying anything. I thought maybe he was still getting used to me. He will defrost as time goes on.

4 months later, the kid is still quiet. Even when we are eating, he would come and stand in front of me, then bite my drumstick, start chewing while looking at me. It was like an old person in the kids' body.

This one time, his mother left me with him and went to the shops. I was waiting by the door just in case he decided to do some funny stuff. I kept throwing him snacks, but I was ready to call his mother and put her on loudspeaker if he started crying so she could reprimand him.

One night, I woke up as I wanted to go and p*e. The lights in the passage were off. I found that kid standing right there in the dark looking at me, shuuu!! I started praying “Rhaa fire in the name Jesus, in Jesus' name go away bad spirits”, his mother woke up and said, “Noo stop shouting at the child”. I looked at her and told her that the kid is possessed. That made her angry, so I decided to go sleep on the couch. In the AMs I heard something breathing heavy, even a cow couldn't match that breathing. When I opened my eyes it's that kid standing on top of the coffee table eating a Banana looking at me, but why? I went to the kitchen fast, got rough salt. It was time to tackle it the African, I started pouring him with that salt while I kept saying “Satan uhambe wrong namhlanje, phuma kum”. Meaning satan not today, leave me alone.

The mother woke up and chased me away, I took my stuff and left, it was 3am. Now I only date ladies without kids. 😭😭

🚨 The Most Possessed Man in the Bible — And Why Modern Christians Downplay How Dark This Really Was

This is one of the darkest scenes in all of Scripture, and yet it’s often softened, sanitized, or rushed past in sermons. The man Jesus met in the region of the Gerasenes was not merely “troubled.” He was not struggling with abstract temptation. He was not dealing with inner thoughts or emotional distress. He was completely overtaken.

The Gospel writers are intentional with their language. This man was possessed by many demons. When Jesus asks for a name, the response is chilling: “Legion, for we are many.” A Roman legion numbered thousands. Whether literal or symbolic, the message is unmistakable—this was not a single spirit, but an overwhelming infestation of darkness.

The man lived among the tombs. Not near them. Not beside them. Among them. He slept where the dead were buried. He had been driven out of society so completely that death itself had become his environment. Scripture says no one could restrain him, not even with chains. He broke iron as if it were thread. Day and night he screamed. He cut himself with stones. This was not poetic exaggeration. This was total domination.

And here’s the part modern Christians are uncomfortable admitting: this level of possession was likely horrific beyond imagination. The Bible doesn’t describe every detail—not because it wasn’t dark, but because it didn’t need to. The clues are enough. Isolation. Superhuman strength. Self-harm. Constant torment. Loss of identity. Complete separation from community, dignity, and peace.

This wasn’t just spiritual oppression. This was spiritual occupation.

The demons recognized Jesus immediately. They begged. They negotiated. They feared Him. That alone tells us how real this darkness was. Evil does not bargain unless it knows it is about to lose. When Jesus allows the demons to enter the pigs, the result is instant chaos—an entire herd driven mad, rushing violently to their deaths. That visual matters. It shows what those spirits were doing to the man every moment of his existence.

And yet, when Jesus frees him, the man is found “clothed and in his right mind.” No process. No therapy. No gradual recovery. Complete restoration. In one moment, what thousands of demons destroyed, Christ reversed.

This story forces an uncomfortable truth: the Bible presents spiritual evil as real, aggressive, and capable of total domination. But it presents Christ as infinitely greater.

If this account unsettles you, it should. Not because it glorifies darkness—but because it exposes how shallow our modern understanding of spiritual warfare has become. We prefer tidy metaphors. Scripture gives us raw reality.

And the most overlooked detail? Jesus went out of His way to reach this man. Across a sea. Into Gentile territory. Into a graveyard. Into the presence of a legion of demons. Not to debate theology—but to rescue one soul everyone else had abandoned.

This wasn’t a healing story. It was a rescue operation.

Some years back, it was the most beautiful house in this community. The owner was the richest man in whom all looked up to for support. The vehicle was a cynosure of all eyes. It was like a dream come true when the owner added both house and vehicle to his list of possession. But today, the properties have grown old and in fulfillment of the natural law, must collapse for a new house to develop.

Should anyone be found living inside this building as it stands now, such a person is labelled as "insane" and must be kept at arm's length.

Nothing in life is worth fighting for. Your best clothes is someone's rag. Your account balance is someone's donation at a function. Your girlfriend/ boyfriend/ fiance/ fiancée is someone's ex. Every single pr******te you see in a hotel or on the street at night was at some point in time a virgin. So what is the squabble all about? Life is too small to feel bigger or better than anybody.

"We are all naked to death," says Steve Jobs. Nothing can save us from it. I hate to see people who brag about wealth, beauty, intelligence, level of education, fame and material possessions. There is nothing you have achieved in life that no one else has never gotten. There is only one thing that is worth bragging, which is: "Life in God Almighty". So, be good to your fellow man and always make friends. Always remember that the people you trampled upon on your way up a ladder will be the same set of people you are likely to pass on your way down.

So, cause no problem for others because if you do, they will become your very problem one day. Finally, even banana stems will one day become dried leaves. So, don't be driven by material possession. It will soon grow old and die.
