Back then I didn’t make sure that female cats were actually females and would end up spaying a male.... 🙉

The above will help in differentiating them and also prevent naming female cats as male or the opposite lol

Coat color is another clue as calicos or tortoiseshell cats are always female. And most ginger/orange tabby cats are males .

🐾if you notice the above symptoms and also when your pet is not his usual self, there is need for medical intervention as pets deteriorate very fast especially when vomiting and having diarrhea, and should not be “observed “for more than 24 hours

🐾early medical intervention will reduce stress on your pet as the pet will heal faster and for you too financially as its more expensive treating a critically ill pet.

🐾also ensure your pet is vaccinated, as when infected with the viral diseases, there will be higher chance of recovery.

🐾These receptors are so sensitive they can even detect vibrations in the air. Whiskers help cats navigate around objects (particularly in the dark) and can help them decide whether they can squeeze through that tiny gap or not.

Activated charcoal a must have at home as a pet owner, it absorbs most toxins pets ingest; when given orally, decreases the toxic effects of the poisoning.

Time is always a factor in toxicity cases, and the sooner a vet is contacted,, the better the chances of a successful outcome.

Activated charcoal is most effective when given within the first hour after ingesting a toxin, but it can be given up to four hours after ingestion.
