While socialising this breed as a puppy, you should take special care to prevent them from having encounters with aggressive dogs. y strong in this breed; some people have reported that guests to their homes must be introduced to their dogs before they are permitted entry. The breed will protect its family and property with its life, and unknown intruders will be met with fearless resistance. Because of the strong protective nature of this breed, Boerboels are not recommended if you’ve never had a dog before. Although protective, Boerboels have a desire to please and become attached to their families. They can be very playful and affectionate and enjoy playing with children with whom they are acquainted. The breed gets along with dogs, cats and other animals, but this can vary based on each dog’s individual temperament.

PEDIGREE BLOODLINES

EsoteriK commenced in 2018, a small farm located in the savannah plains of Kajiado County, home of the famed Maasai people in the Republic of Kenya. We are focused on breeding mastiffs, primarily the boerboel breed.

We fell in love with the Boerboel during our stay in South Africa. The first time we saw a boerboel dog was in 1999 at Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal. That first encounter with this majestic breed left an inedible mark in our lives. Nineteen years later, we finally actualized our passion for the improvement and preservation of the breed by establishing the home of pedigree boerboel bloodlines in East and Central Africa. Our Boerboels are raised in a 1.2 acre farm, surrounded by vast savannah land which satisfies their sense of adventure and exploration.

The Boerboel is a strong intelligent dog that has bееn ѕресіаllу brеd tо bе a рrоtесtоr. Boerboels hаvе a vеrу confident nаturе аnd frіеndlу сhаrасtеr. Boerboels hаvе vеrу ѕtrоng wаtсhdоg іnѕtіnсtѕ. They are vеrу соnfіdеnt аnd have no fеаr. Since Boerboels аrе nаturаl рrоtесtоrѕ, thеу саn bе аggrеѕѕіvе tоwаrd strangers.
