Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest level of food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Create innovative and seasonally inspired menus that cater to a diverse clientele.
• Train, supervise, and motivate a team of kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
• Monitor and manage food costs, inventory, and supplies, ensuring optimal utilisation and minimising waste.
• Collaborate with management to develop new concepts and ideas for special events and themed dining experiences.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, following all food safety and hygiene standards.
• Continuously strive for excellence, staying up to date with culinary trends and techniques.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
• Profound knowledge of Japanese cuisine, including traditional and regional dishes.
• Ability to create visually appealing presentations that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
