Sasebo Veterinary Services has a very diverse mission, with our top priority being providing the highest standard of veterinary care to the Military Working Dogs stationed on this installation. But we love ALL animals, big and small, and we offer as many appointments as possible to family pets on this installation as well! We have one veterinarian stationed at Sasebo, however their missions often

take them on TAD. We are working VERY hard to get a larger clinic with more staff so that we can expand our services and hours of availability. (Updated JAN 2022)

Good afternoon Sasebo, still dealing with a power outage, but on a happier note - even though the season has moved on, we'd like to do a throwback to October and show off our community's amazing Halloween pet costumes! We only have a few submissions so far, so if you'd like to include your furry friend for all to see, shoot us an email with their photo at [email protected]! Good morning Sasebo, we're thrilled to be back on social media communicating with you! Unfortunately, just as we gain one capability back, we've lost another with a Hario power outage- reports indicate power should be back on within a few hours, in the meantime we do still have limited online access to view emails and see patients. However phones are currently down, so please email us if needed or come by in person. For now no appointments are being cancelled, but the loss of power means no printing/payment processing, so please be patient as we work around these issues. Thank you!

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status. Clinic operations will continue as usual, any changes to operations or safety-related messages will continue to be updated, but no other posts will be made until further notice.
