thepod.greys was established in 2019, inspired by a love for greyhounds and a commitment to supporting the rescue community in Australia. What began as a passion project quickly grew into something much bigger. Soon after launching, COVID-19 hit, and while the world slowed down, we were incredibly grateful to remain busy through online sales. With the support of our community, we proudly donated o
ver $6,000 to rescue organisations within our first two years. As the brand grew, thepod.greys expanded beyond online sales. We hosted pop-up stores, collaborated closely with greyhound rescue groups, and actively took part in protests to ban greyhound racing, standing up for the animals at the heart of everything we do. In November 2020, thepod.greys officially closed due to a personal career change — opening and running a vegan restaurant, guided by the same values of compassion, purpose, and love for animals. While the brand paused, its mission never changed. By February 2022, thepod.greys reopened, refreshed and re-energised. In March 2024, the brand entered an exciting new chapter with a move to Japan. This transition brought a fresh look, beautiful Japanese fabrics, refined craftsmanship, and an even stronger focus on quality — while staying true to the heart of the brand. Looking ahead, 2026 is set to be our biggest year yet. With the launch of our brand-new website, thepod.greys will continue to introduce consistent new designs, themed collections, exclusive embroidered patches, and special pieces created for celebrations and meaningful moments. This next chapter feels fresh, intentional, and full of heart — and we’re only just getting started 🐾✨
