🌱 Acqua, Energia e Agricoltura Sostenibile in Giordania: I traguardi del progetto AMER 💧☀️
Nei governatorati di Madaba e Karak, il progetto AMER — implementato dall'IUCN con il supporto della Cooperazione Italiana — ha affrontato la scarsità idrica applicando l'innovativo approccio integrato WEFE Nexus (Acqua-Energia-Cibo-Ecosistemi).
Cosa abbiamo realizzato insieme sul campo?
✨ Idroponica solare: Abbiamo installato serre avanzate alimentate a energia rinnovabile, capaci di ridurre il consumo idrico fino al 70% rispetto all'agricoltura tradizionale.
💧 Efficienza idrica: Abbiamo diffuso sistemi di raccolta dell'acqua piovana (water harvesting) e reti di irrigazione moderna a supporto dei piccoli agricoltori.
👥 Empowerment e Formazione: Oltre 1.100 partecipanti — con una forte presenza di donne, giovani e rifugiati siriani — sono stati coinvolti in percorsi pratici e demonstration sites dedicati allo sviluppo di microimprese e alla gestione agricola, valorizzando appieno le sinergie del WEFE Nexus.
Un modello concreto di sviluppo che ha unito innovazione e protezione ambientale, costruendo un futuro più resiliente per le comunità locali! 🌍🤝


المياه والطاقة والزراعة المستدامة في الأردن: إنجازات مشروع "عامر"💧☀️
في محافظتي مادبا والكرك، عمل مشروع "عامر"، الذي نفذه الاتحاد الدولي لحماية الطبيعة (IUCN) بدعم من التعاون الإيطالي، على مواجهة تحديات شح المياه من خلال تطبيق النهج التكاملي المبتكر WEFE Nexus (المياه - الطاقة - الغذاء - النظم البيئية).
ماذا حققنا معاً على أرض الواقع؟
✨ الزراعة المائية بالطاقة الشمسية: قمنا بتركيب بيوت زراعية متطورة تعمل بالطاقة المتجددة، قادرة على تقليل استهلاك المياه بنسبة تصل إلى 70% مقارنة بالزراعة التقليدية.
💧 كفاءة استخدام المياه: ساهمنا في نشر أنظمة حصاد مياه الأمطار وشبكات الري الحديثة لدعم صغار المزارعين.
👥 التمكين والتدريب: تم إشراك أكثر من 1,100 شخص، مع حضور قوي للنساء والشباب واللاجئين السوريين، في برامج تدريب عملية ومواقع عرض تطبيقية مخصصة لتطوير المشاريع الصغيرة والإدارة الزراعية، بما يعزز الاستفادة الكاملة من التكامل بين عناصر نهج WEFE Nexus.
نموذج تنموي عملي جمع بين الابتكار وحماية البيئة، وأسهم في بناء مستقبل أكثر مرونة للمجتمعات المحلية 🌍🤝!

Abitudini sane che durano nel tempo! 🧼

Grazie al progetto Grow Together — finanziato dall'Italia attraverso la Cooperazione Italiana e implementato da AVSI in collaborazione con Fondazione Terre des Hommes Italia, 175 bambini in Giordania hanno partecipato a sessioni interattive di igiene e prevenzione.

Un'occasione per imparare buone pratiche quotidiane da condividere con le famiglie, contribuendo a costruire comunità più sane e resilienti. 🌍

Rafforzare l'accesso a servizi sanitari inclusivi e di qualità in Giordania.

L'Ambasciatore d'Italia in Giordania, S.E. Luciano Pezzotti, insieme ad AICS Amman, ha visitato l'Ospedale Italiano di Karak, riaffermando il sostegno dell’Italia alla struttura.

La visita è stata l’occasione per un confronto sui bisogni e sulle priorità dell’Ospedale, che l’Italia continuerà a supportare con l’obiettivo di potenziare i servizi e migliorare equipaggiamenti e infrastrutture, con focus particolare su bambini, donne e persone con disabilità.

Un passo concreto per consolidare la storica collaborazione tra Italia e Giordania nel campo della salute e promuovere un accesso sempre più equo alle cure.



تعزيز الوصول إلى خدمات صحية شاملة وعالية الجودة في الأردن.

قام اليوم سعادة سفير إيطاليا لدى المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، لوتشيانو بيتزوتّي، برفقة الوكالة الإيطالية للتعاون الإنمائي (AICS) – مكتب عمّان، بزيارة المستشفى الإيطالي في الكرك، مؤكّدًا مجددًا دعم إيطاليا المستمر للمستشفى.

وشكّلت الزيارة فرصةً لمناقشة احتياجات المستشفى وأولوياته، حيث ستواصل إيطاليا دعمها بهدف تعزيز الخدمات الصحية وتحسين التجهيزات والبنية التحتية، مع إيلاء اهتمام خاص للأطفال والنساء والأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

وتُعدّ هذه الزيارة خطوةً ملموسةً لتعزيز الشراكة التاريخية بين إيطاليا والأردن في القطاع الصحي، ودعم الوصول العادل والشامل إلى خدمات الرعاية الصحية.

Proud to see women turning their skills into opportunities and strengthening their economic independence through one of the initiatives under the Protection Programme in Jordan: the “Grow Together” project, implemented by AVSI and Terre des Hommes Italy with the support of AICS Amman. 🌱💪

The programme brings together three complementary projects implemented by Italian Civil Society Organizations to support vulnerable refugees and Jordanian host communities through an integrated approach to protection, social assistance, empowerment, and community engagement.
The community bazaar held at Hashemite University in Zarqa is one example of how this broader programme translates into concrete opportunities, fostering resilience, inclusion, and self-reliance among individuals and communities across Jordan.

Italy and the EU, together with Jordanian partners, are marking a key milestone in protecting Jordan's archaeological heritage.
Today's session at Abila launches the next phase of the project, presenting upcoming archaeological, conservation and architectural works, expected results, and plans for a new Visitor Centre.

🌍 Celebrating Jordan's rich cultural heritage!

Italy and the European Union, together with local partners, are marking a major milestone at Mukawer. From preserving the Byzantine Village complex with the ancient Church of Bishop Malekios and the valorization of the caves near the Machaerus fortress to enhancing visitor facilities, through the adaptation of the historical “Heritage Units”, with a focus on accessibility, this initiative helps protect Jordan's unique heritage while making it more accessible for all.



🌍 نحتفي بإرث الأردن الثقافي العريق! 🇯🇴تحتفل إيطاليا والاتحاد الأوروبي، بالتعاون مع الشركاء المحليين، بإنجازٍ هام في موقع مكاور الأثري. من خلال ترميم مجمع القرية البيزنطية، بما في ذلك كنيسة الأسقف ماليكيوس، وتأهيل الكهوف المجاورة لقلعة مكاور، وصولاً إلى تحسين مرافق الزوار عبر تهيئة "وحدات التراث" التاريخية مع التركيز على تعزيز سهولة الوصول؛ تساهم هذه المبادرة في حماية التراث الفريد للأردن وجعله أكثر ملاءمة للجميع.

La bellezza di un progetto risiede nella capacità di non fermarsi al primo obiettivo.

La scorsa settimana vi abbiamo parlato del nostro intervento nel campo di Hitteen per riqualificare le abitazioni di alcuni residenti del campo profughi palestinese.
Dopo aver completato, insieme a UNOPS, le prime 100 unità abitative, il lavoro della Cooperazione Italiana è proseguito con la ristrutturazione di ulteriori 6 unità abitative.

Queste 106 case rappresentano oggi uno spazio sicuro per le famiglie più vulnerabili, offrendo protezione e dignità.
Costruire fondamenta solide è il modo migliore per guardare al futuro. 🏗️✨

Il diritto a una casa dignitosa è il primo passo per garantire salute e stabilità.

Oggi raccontiamo il nostro impegno in Giordania nel campo di Hitteen (Marka), dove vivono oltre 53.000 rifugiati palestinesi, provenienti principalmente da Gaza.
In un contesto segnato da forti limitazioni, molti residenti non possono effettuare le necessarie manutenzioni.

Abbiamo consegnato 6 unità abitative riabilitate, che si aggiungono alle 100 precedentemente ristrutturate in collaborazione con UNOPS. Grazie anche al coordinamento con il Dipartimento per gli Affari Palestinesi, nell’ambito dell’iniziativa siamo riusciti a garantire abitazioni sicure a circa 500 persone.

Questo progetto è un investimento concreto per il benessere della comunità. Ma il lavoro non finisce qui. Stay tuned!
