☀️Hi everyone ☀️
As I’m sure you’ve heard, a heatwave is on the way over the next few days. This means we’ll be seeing some very high temperatures, which can be dangerous for our dogs.
Attached is the guidance we follow, which is based on the Met Office weather forecast, as it’s the most accurate for Jersey. I’ve bumped the walks earlier by about an hour to help us avoid the worst of the heat. I’ll be keeping a close eye on both the forecast and your pups, and I’ll let you know if anything changes.
Please note:
• Walks during moderate heat may need to be shortened or adjusted depending on conditions. 🐾
• We’ll monitor all the dogs closely to make sure they don’t overdo it. 🥵
• If the new timings don’t work for you, just let me know. ☀️
• If you’re unsure which slot your dog is in, feel free to message me and I’ll help. 😎
• In case of cancellation, it’s best to walk your dogs early morning or later in the evening. 🌅 🌃
