We never saw this species of snail, not sure of they are Land or aquatic snails, It looks like they live Just above the water line in this creek! Do you know It?

🐌 Ramshorns can show really incredible colors especially when young! This was the pink one that started our "Pearl Pink" colony!!

⁉️ Did you know that the color of this species varies depending on the color of the body and thickness and color of the shell? The lighter the body the lighter the shell color, because the translucency of the shell. So you can start with brown-red ones (tipically brown shell and red body) to bright orange (red shell and orange-pinkish body). The same is true for other colors too like this pink one. Juveniles also have a thinner shell resulting in brighter colors. This depends on genetics but also on food. Do you have some special colored snail?
