ANIMALS CARRY PIECES OF OUR SOUL WE CAN’T ENTRUST TO PEOPLE.
They take in the love too pure for human hands,
and they guard it without fear, without betrayal.
In their eyes, we find the truths words can’t hold.
In their silence, we find the loyalty this world forgets.
They don’t shatter what was never meant to be broken.
Some of us love this way because we were born with hearts
too vast, too raw, too tender—
too tender for a world not quite ready to accept it.
And it’s why we found solace in animals
when it seemed we couldn’t find it anywhere else.
