Just two sheds in and the colors have really ignited. Wasn’t one of my favorites at hatch, but I’ll admit - he’s winning me over.
Dark Viking is clearly doing its job here. Thinking this is a HIOD Dark Viking Banana (YB).

Only downside? These colors are impossible to capture on video… 📱💔
Some things are just better experienced in person.
In appena due mute i colori si sono accesi davvero molto. Non era uno dei miei preferiti quando è nato ma ammetto che sta guadagnando punti.
E sicuramente il Dark Viking anche qui sta facendo un buon lavoro. Penso sia un HIOD Dark Viking Banana (YB).

Unico lato negativo? Questi colori sono impossibili da catturare in video… 📱💔
Alcune cose vanno semplicemente vissute dal vivo.

The first shed of our first Dark Viking clutch… and what a shed!
I still remember the moment we decided to invest in this gene. It wasn’t a simple choice: Dark Viking was (and still is) still unexplored, few projects, few certainties.
But sometimes you have to follow your instinct.
Looking at this shed, looking at the incredible quality of this little one, I can say with certainty: the sacrifice is paying off.
In breeding, as in life, the best results come when you have the courage to believe in something before others do.

La prima muta della nostra prima schiusa di Dark Viking… e che muta!
Ricordo ancora il momento in cui abbiamo deciso di investire in questo gene. Non era una scelta semplice: Dark Viking era (ed è) ancora poco esplorato, pochi progetti, poche certezze.
Ma a volte bisogna seguire l’istinto.
Guardando questa muta, guardando la qualità incredibile di questo piccolo, posso dire con certezza: il sacrificio sta ripagando.
Nel breeding, come nella vita, i migliori risultati arrivano quando hai il coraggio di credere in qualcosa prima degli altri.
