Confirming what breeders already know.
The mutation for cryptic and amur is the same.

Earlier this spring, we found the mutation for cryptic/amur in the same gene where the mutation for clown resides. This supports the allelic nature of clown and cryptic as described by breeders.

Thank you to Mutation Creation, DPR coldblood, Markus Jayne, , and The Ball Room Canada (some shameless self promotion) for supplying me with sheds.
