It is a great pleasure, at last, to see the fruit of many months’ work. Our book chapter on Zoological Companion Animal Gastroenterology has been published in Veterinary Clinics of North America: Exotic Animal Practice. It’s been a great privilege to work with Joao Brandao on this project. Together with him I would like to thank all of the 20 contributors, without whom this issue would not have been made possible. We are also grateful to the publishing company Elsevier and its editorial team, and Dr Jorg Mayer for making this happen. We hope that in reading these articles clinicians will find new, practical information and be assisted in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders in zoological companion animals 🐰🐇🐭🐁🐀🐹🦨🦜🦉🐓🦆🦅🐍🐢🦎🐸🐟🦁🦭🐯
