📖 ASANA LEGENDS
The road Yudhisthira had to travel to get to the top of Kailash mountain, Paradise, was so impervious and difficult that his brothers could not make it. 🐾 Yudhistira, however, was never alone: at his side was his faithful dog (in Sanskrit Svan, hence the famous Asana Adho Mukha and Urdhva Mukha Svanasana), with whom he reached the gates of Paradise. Once there the god Indra told him that the animal could not enter. 🐕
🔹 "He's just a dog, leave it to his life. You are already beyond all this." "But I'm not beyond my conscience." Yudhisthira would not have abandoned the animal, not even to enter paradise (let alone to go on vacation, ed). It was then that the animal transformed into light, and Yudhisthira found himself in front of his father Dharma who told him that he had been tested.
