Die Haflinger Welt-Zucht- und Sportvereinigung (HWZSV) ist der Dachverband aller Haflinger Zucht- und Sportorganisationen weltweit. Sie wurde 2013 auf Betreiben der Ursprungszuchtbuchführenden Organisationen in Südtirol/Italien und Tirol/Österreich gegründet und zählt aktuell 24 Mitglieder. Zu ihren Aufgaben gehören die Interessensvertretung der Haflingerzucht und die internationale Förderung der

Rasse. Die HWZSV fördert die Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Züchterorganisationen, legt gemeinsame Zuchtbestimmungen fest, leistet Empfehlungen in wichtigen Zuchtfragen, organisiert internationale Konferenzen, Zucht- und Sportveranstaltungen und unterstützt die Mitgliedsorganisationen in den jeweiligen Ländern. Die HZWSV ist verantwortlich für die Organisation der weltweit größten Haflinger Zucht- und Sportveranstaltungen: Die Haflinger-Weltausstellung, die alle fünf Jahre stattfindet, und das Haflinger Europachampionat, das im Dreijahres-Rhythmus ausgetragen wird.

Sito ufficiale dell’Associazione Mondiale Haflinger Allevamento e Sport (AMHAS) avente sede legale a Bolzano/Italia e Centro di interesse dell’allevamento Haflinger a Ebbs/Austria. L’ Associazione Mondiale Haflinger Allevamento e Sport (AMHAS) è l'organizzazione ombrello di tutte le organizzazioni di allevamento e sport Haflinger nel mondo. È stata fondata nel 2013 su iniziativa delle organizzazioni che tengono il Libro di Origine della Razza in Alto Adige/Italia e Tirolo/Austria e, al momento, conta 24 associazioni socie. Essa si propone di rappresentare gli interessi della razza Haflinger su scala internazionale e di attuare misure di valorizzazione e promozione congiunta. L’AMHAS assicura la collaborazione tra le diverse organizzazioni di allevatori della razza, favorisce l’introduzione di regolamenti selettivi comuni e di raccomandazioni relative a criteri di allevamento uniformi, organizza incontri, conferenze, mostre e competizioni su scala internazionale e sostiene le organizzazioni associate nei rispettivi paesi. L’AMHAS è responsabile dell’organizzazione delle due manifestazioni di spicco per la razza a livello internazionale: la Mostra Mondiale Haflinger, evento di morfologia che si svolge ogni cinque anni, ed il Campionato Sportivo Europeo Haflinger, che si tiene ogni tre anni.

Official website of the World Haflinger Breeding and Sports Federation (WHBSF) based in Bolzano/Bozen, South Tyrol (I), whose designated centre for Haflinger breeding is located at the Fohlenhof Ebbs stud farm (A). The World Haflinger Breeding and Sports Federation (WHBSF) is the international umbrella organisation of all Haflinger breeders’ associations. Founded in 2013 at the initiative of the organisations in charge of the original stud books, it currently has 24 members. Its aims include representing the interests of Haflinger breeders and promoting the breed globally. The WHBSF fosters collaborations and networking between breeders’ organisations, establishes joint breeding regulations, makes recommendations regarding key breeding matters, organises international conferences, breeding and sporting events and supports the member organisations in their respective countries. Furthermore, the Federation/The WHBSF is responsible for organising the world’s largest Haflinger breeding and sports events: the Haflinger World Show, which takes place every five years, and the European Haflinger Championships, which are held at three-year intervals.

Sabato 8 agosto 2026 si terrà presso Hradišťko u Sadské (CZ) una mostra con cavalli Haflinger. Come giudici sono stati incaricati Manfred Lientschnig e Stefanie Wuzella. Venerdì 7 agosto sono in programma l'iscrizione al Libro Genealogico e le prove attitudinali.

„Da wir die Hengste von klein auf in ihrer Aufzucht am Fohlenhof Ebbs begleiten, ist die jährliche Hengstkörung für mich keine große Überraschung – und dennoch jedes Jahr etwas Besonderes. Was mich immer wieder fasziniert, ist der enorme Entwicklungsschritt, den diese jungen Kerle in nur drei Monaten machen: Vor kurzer Zeit noch auf der Alm, stehen sie heute als selbstbewusste Junghengste im Ring. “Poiché seguiamo gli stalloni fin da piccoli nel corso del loro accrescimento presso il Fohlenhof di Ebbs, il Raduno Stalloni non presenta particolare sorprese per me, ma resta comunque ogni anno un evento speciale. Ciò che mi affascina sempre sono gli enormi progressi che questi giovani soggetti compiono in soli tre mesi: fino a poco tempo fa erano ancora all'alpeggio, mentre oggi li vediamo sfilare nel ring, così sicuri di sé. Tutto ciò rispecchia una generazione di stalloni particolarmente equilibrata, dalla morfologia corretta, con un potenziale nelle andature superiore alla media e rappresentanti di quasi tutte le linee di sangue.”

"Since we accompany the stallions from an early age in their development at the Fohlenhof in Ebbs, the annual stallion licensing event comes as no great surprise to me – and yet it is still something special every year. What fascinates me time and again is the enormous progress these young lads make in just three months: not long ago they were still up in the alpine pastures, and today they stand in the ring as confident young stallions. 𝐿𝑎𝑝𝑜 𝐵𝑟𝑎𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑖, ANACRHAI-Rasseexperte und Richter bei der Hengstkörung in Neumarkt:
Der große Besucherandrang und die vollen Tribünen bestätigten erneut das wachsende Interesse am Haflinger sowie die große Bedeutung der Hengstkörung für Züchter und Zuchtselektion.
Von den dreijährigen Hengsten wurden fünf mit IB (sehr gut), einer mit IIA+ (gut+), 12 mit IIA (gut) und zwei mit IIB (befriedigend) bewertet, zwei wurden zurückgestellt.
Die seit vielen Jahren verfolgte Zuchtausrichtung hat dazu geführt, dass sich die Züchter im Ursprungszuchtgebiet Südtirol, aber auch im übrigen Italien, auf Pferdetypen konzentrieren, die korrekter gebaut und leistungsfähiger in ihren Bewegungen sind, ohne dabei die charakteristischen Merkmale der Haflingerrasse zu verlieren.

𝐿𝑎𝑝𝑜 𝐵𝑟𝑎𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑖, esperto di razza ANACRHAI e giudice al Raduno Stalloni di Egna:
Gli spalti erano gremiti, a conferma dell’interesse crescente verso il cavallo Haflinger, nonché l’importanza che il Raduno Stalloni rappresenta nell'ambito della selezione.
Tra gli stalloni di tre anni, cinque sono stati valutati IB (molto buono), uno con IIA+ (buono+), 12 con IIA (buono) e due con IIB (discreto); due soggetti sono stati rinviati.
L'obiettivo di selezione, perseguito ormai da molti anni, ha portato gli allevatori della zona d'origine dell'Alto Adige, ma del resto d’Italia, a concentrarsi su una tipologia di cavalli più corretti e performanti nei movimenti, senza perdere quei caratteri di razza distintivi dell’Haflinger autoctono.

𝐿𝑎𝑝𝑜 𝐵𝑟𝑎𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑖, ANACRHAI breed expert and judge at the stallion licensing in Egna/Neumarkt:
The large crowds and packed stands once again confirmed the growing interest in Haflinger horses and the great importance of the stallion licensing for breeders and breeding selection.
Of the three-year-old stallions, five were rated IB (very good), one IIA+ (good+), 12 IIA (good) and two IIB (satisfactory), while two were withdrawn.
The breeding direction pursued for many years has led breeders in the original breeding area of South Tyrol, but also in the rest of Italy, to concentrate on horse types that are more correctly built and more efficient in their movements, without losing the characteristic features of the Haflinger breed.

Die terminliche Abstimmung der Körungen in Österreich und Italien hat viel Sichtbarkeit für die Junghengste gebracht, Vergleichbarkeit geschaffen und auch den länderübergreifenden Austausch gefördert. Die Gemeinschaft der Haflingerzüchter:innen hat sich weiterentwickelt, ist stärker vernetzt, spornt sich an. Die drei Körungen wurden live übertragen.

„Erfreulich ist, dass drei der vier besten Fohlen des Bundes-Fohlenchampionats 2023 den Weg zur Hengstanerkennung eingeschlagen haben und heuer als Junghengste erneut im Pferdezentrum Stadl-Paura vorgestellt wurden. Mit einem durchschnittlichen Stockmaß von 150,3 cm lagen die sieben gekörten Junghengste nur knapp über dem Vorjahreswert und erreichten eine durchschnittliche Wertnote von 7,78.“

Il coordinamento delle date dei Raduni in Austria e in Italia ha offerto grande visibilità ai giovani stalloni, favorendo il confronto e promuovendo lo scambio transnazionale. La comunità degli allevatori di Haflinger si è evoluta, è sempre più interconnessa e si sprona a vicendevolemente. Tutti e tre i Raduni sono stati inoltre trasmessi in diretta.

"È incoraggiante che tre dei quattro migliori puledri del Campionato federale 2023 abbiano intrapreso il percorso per l'approvazione come riproduttori e che quest'anno siano stati presentati al centro equestre di Stadl-Paura. Con un'altezza media al garrese di 150,3 cm, i sette giovani stalloni approvati hanno superato di poco il valore dell'anno precedente, ottenendo un punteggio medio di 7,78."

The coordination of the licensing dates in Austria and Italy has greatly increased visibility for the young stallions, enabling comparisons and promoting cross-border exchanges. The community of Haflinger breeders has evolved, become more closely networked and is spurring itself on. All three licensing events were broadcast live.

"It is gratifying that three of the four best foals from the 2023 Federal Championship have embarked on the path to their licensing and were once again presented as young stallions at the Stadl-Paura Equestrian Centre this year. With an average height of 150.3 cm, the seven licensed young stallions were only slightly above last year's figure and achieved an average score of 7.78."

Bis zum Haflinger Europachampionat Ende August 2027 ist es nicht mehr lange. Zuvor werden jedoch jene Zuchthengste, die 2024 in Stadl-Paura (A) mit ganz besonderen Leistungen überzeugt haben, nochmals ins Rampenlicht gerückt: Im Rahmen der Körungen werden die Sonderpreise für Zuchthengste an die Besitzer überreicht.

Non manca ormai molto all'edizione 2027 del Campionato Sportivo Europeo Haflinger. Nel frattempo, gli stalloni che nel 2024 si sono distinti a Stadl-Paura (A) con prestazioni di particolare rilievo tornano sotto i riflettori: nell'ambito dei Raduni vengono infatti consegnati attestati di merito ai proprietari degli stalloni.

It won't be long until the European Haflinger Championship at the end of August 2027. Before that, however, the stallions that impressed with their exceptional performances in Stadl-Paura (A) in 2024 will once again take centre stage: the special prizes for licensed stallions will be presented to their owners during the licensing events.

Die HWZSV-Führung ist derzeit gemeinsam mit Zuchtleiter Dr. Posta János in Ungarn unterwegs, um den fachlichen Austausch und die internationale Zusammenarbeit weiter zu vertiefen.

I vertici AMHAS si trovano attualmente in Ungheria, insieme al responsabile della selezione dott. János Posta, al fine di approfondire lo scambio di conoscenze specialistiche e la collaborazione internazionale.
