this weekend was different and so fun, endurmenntun reiðkennarar with Mette Mannseth and an amazing group of riding instructors! 🕺 and it was all about learning, sharing, and growing together. we talked about different teaching approaches, horse welfare, the fact that “stillness is a behavior,” lots about the riders seat, separate cues and how to reward horses at just the right moment or when to keep pressure a little longer.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but they were laying bricks every hour. 🏛️ Training means commitment- commitment to welfare, to learning, and to keeping an open mind. Every day I spend with my horses or talk to horse friends they reminds me that this journey is endless. There’s always new techniques to try, a new study to read, or a small change to make. It’s not just about being “the best”, it’s about keeping the joy alive too, taking time to bond with each horse, and staying grateful for everything. When passion leads the way, the horses feel it too 🐴💘
