ys it has grown to more than 375 Cows, Bulls and Calves. Small baby calves will soon grow into bulls and mothers, and their needs will also increase. As they grow and produce more milk for the benefit of human consumers, it is important to provide them more nourishment and care. Secondly, this project aims to educate more devotees and the people in general of the importance of Go-Seva. Our "mothers" have been taking care of us for so many years, this is now the right time to return that kindness. Bulls are trained to work at an early age and assist in agricultural production by plowing fields and pulling carts. The calves drink milk from their mothers till they reach the age of seven to ten months to ensure good health. The cows are always milked by hand.The Bhaktivedanta Swami Goshala has been protecting cows and bulls since 1976.
