Red Earth Riding School

Red Earth Riding School We offer horse riding lessons to people of all ages and levels. Our classes stretch from the basics We are home to around 20 horses and 10 ponies.

Red Earth Riding School is located in Auroville, near Pondicherry. We have Olympic measurement dressage and jumping arenas, in addition to a round ring and two general use arenas. Our horses are a diverse group, consisting of ex-racehorses, the indigenous kathiawaris, warmbloods and three stunning Andalusians. We compete regularly in regional and national horse-shows in Dressage and Jumping.

What a wonderful competition concept. And that’s only possible with absolutely dedicated people like Mr Manoj Jalan and Col Sunil Shivdas and so many others. 🙏🙏🙏for giving so many riders this opportunity.

A few days ago our wonderful friend Aztek Star passed away. He was with us for many years and the favourite of soooo many. He was gentle, kind and for quite a few kids the first horse they ever rode in a competition. He was a true Star , we all miss him dearly!

Yesterday’s first attempt to ride the test got interrupted by super heavy rain and wind, , but today morning , inspite of bad ground conditions they both rocked as usual❤️
