Now a days i am getting several calls asking, How’s the bird sales going? Are people still buying our cuties like before? Etc etc.
I know, for several days all the hobbyist are very disappointed, assuming that this hobby does not have a longer life & most people will stop this very soon. I am very sorry to those who says/believes so.
To be very honest, I am much happier to face a situation like this. Do you know why?
Because, for me this is very much a hobby and to maintain a hobby like this every hobbyists need to sell/exchange some of their cuties. I hope real hobbyists can easily understand what I mean.
Also, many so called new hobbyists are selling their cuties at cheap price to take care of their parent stock and on the other hand many real hobbyists are collecting them all.
In such situations, people who looks only for profit will stop their bird Business. YES..! ‘Business’ is the most appropriate term that suits those people. Nowadays, we can see many posts online like breeding pair with eggs, chicks, cage, full accessories for sale etc. When you start seeing such posts/ads, it’s actually time to rejoice. Because those who considered this as mere business is now slowly winding up, paving way for real hobbyists to happily collect the stocks which they are selling. Thereby, those who consider this as a hobby more than a business can happily continue with an increased number of stock.
My only humble request to new blogger's this is one among those most delicate hobbies around and with your greedy profit mindset, please don't kill this hobby. Come to this if and only if you love watching, breeding and spending time with birds and not because you are looking for some kind of money making technique.
