Indian Veterinary Association Kerala is organizing the Inaugural Function of Activities & Installation Ceremony 2026 on 17th January 2026 at 10:00 AM at Hotel Pearl Regency, Warriam Lane (Near Railway Station), Thrissur.

The event will be inaugurated by Padma Shri Prof. (Dr.) Sosamma Iype Ph.D, Former Director, Department of Animal Genetics & Breeding, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Mannuthy.

As part of the programme, a State-Level Workshop on “Importance of Veterinary Public Health Wing and One Health: Addressing Kerala's Current Public Health and Community Animal Management Challenges” will also be conducted. All members are requested to attend and make the function a grand success.

പ്രിയ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെ,

പത്തനംതിട്ട എലിഫന്റ് സ്ക്വാഡിലെ സജീവ സാന്നിധ്യമായിരുന്ന ഡോ. സി. ഗോപകുമാർ ഔദ്യോഗിക കൃത്യനിർവ്വഹണത്തിനിടെ നമ്മെ വിട്ടുപിരിഞ്ഞിട്ട് 11 വർഷം തികയുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്മരണയ്ക്കായി ഇന്ത്യൻ വെറ്ററിനറി അസോസിയേഷൻ (IVA) കേരള, പത്തനംതിട്ട യൂണിറ്റിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ അനുസ്മരണ സമ്മേളനവും സെമിനാറും സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

It has been 11 years since the untimely demise of Dr. C. Gopakumar, who was an integral part of the Pathanamthitta Elephant Squad, while performing his official duties. To honor his cherished memory, the Indian Veterinary Association (IVA) Kerala, Pathanamthitta Unit, is organizing a Commemoration Ceremony and a Technical Seminar.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ആകെ കാർഷികോൽപ്പന്നമൂല്യത്തിന്റെ 26 ശതമാനം സംഭാവന ചെയ്യുന്ന മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ മേഖലയിൽ ഇനിയും ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്താൻ സാധ്യതകളേറെയുണ്ട്. പാലിനും മുട്ടക്കും മാംസത്തിനും ആവശ്യകത വർധിച്ചുവരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ പേരെ ഈ മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ സംരംഭകത്വമേഖലയിലേക്ക് ആകർഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയണം. അതോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ ചെറുകിട കർഷകരെ സംരംഭകരാക്കി മാറ്റാനുള്ള ക്രിയാത്മക ഇടപെടലുകളും വേണം.

പക്ഷിപ്പനി റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ കോഴിയിറച്ചിയും മുട്ടയും കഴിക്കുന്നതിൽ പൊതുജനങ്ങൾ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടതില്ല. കൃത്യമായ മുൻകരുതലുകൾ എടുത്താൽ ഇവ പൂർണ്ണമായും സുരക്ഷിതമാണ്.

ഇറച്ചിയോ മുട്ടയോ കഴിക്കുന്നതിൽ അപകടമില്ല, എന്നാൽ അവ നന്നായി വെന്തതാണെന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തണം. 70 ഡിഗ്രി സെല്‍ഷ്യസില്‍ (70°C) ചൂടാക്കുമ്പോള്‍ 3 മുതൽ 5 മിനിറ്റിനകം പക്ഷിപ്പനി വൈറസുകൾ നശിക്കും.

വേവിക്കാത്തതോ അല്പം ചൂടാക്കിയതോ ആയവ ഒഴിവാക്കുക: പച്ചമുട്ട കുടിക്കുന്നതും, ബുൾസ് ഐ (Bullseye) പോലുള്ള പാതിവെന്ത വിഭവങ്ങളും, ഹാഫ് കുക്ക്ഡ് (Half-cooked) ഇറച്ചിയും മുട്ടയും പൂർണ്ണമായും ഒഴിവാക്കുക. ഇറച്ചി പാകം ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ പിങ്ക് നിറം മാറി നന്നായി വെന്തെന്ന് ഉറപ്പാക്കണം.
