Somewhere along the way, The J*p tee turned into something more.
One by one, we made things on request and demand from our riders and campers - a magnet for a favourite horse, a keychain to remember that first camp. Jackets, caps, umbrellas - a bit for every season.
And just like that, J*p merch became a way to carry the feeling home. 💛
It’s not just merch. Or souvenirs. It’s memories you can wear, hold and keep
Find your favourite at the J*palouppe office and take a little bit of us home with you

We said goodbye to Ghost recently. Our oldest, most talkative and truly unforgettable cat.
She was part of the office team. Always announcing her arrival with meows, insisting on being part of every conversation, walking on top of keyboards, and “assisting” with check-ins.
Ghost was a surprise from the very beginning. Her mom had already been neutered, but one day - there she was. We later found out her mom had a rare condition - two uteruses! and Ghost had somehow made her way into the world. A little miracle
Ghost got her name from her smoky black- grey coat and green eyes that disappeared into the darkness
When she was barely a year old, she fell and broke her leg. As soon as the plaster came off, she broke it again🤦 It left her with a permanent limp, but that never slowed her down.
She still climbed trees, patrolled the space and took her rat-control duties more seriously than any other cat on the farm.
The office feels quieter without your chatter and presence. Rest easy, Ghost! 🖤

Horses of J*palouppe: PANZER
Panzer’s story began with a phone call from a friend that would bring one of the most memorable horses to J*palouppe.
We were in the early stages of developing our laminitis recovery program. I’d mentioned to a few people that if they came across horses showing signs of laminitis, we’d be interested in working with them.
A few weeks later, my friend called in, his friend’s horse had just started showing symptoms. I shared my standard advice: ice therapy, rest and monitoring.
They were also finding it hard to manage and this was exactly the kind of case we were looking for. So, as soon as the horse was stable enough to travel, they put him on a truck with his feet in ice and sent him on a long journey from Hyderabad to J*p - and that’s how Panzer came into our lives.
We got x-rays and immediately started our recovery protocol. Thankfully, it was caught early and over the next few months, he showed remarkable improvement. Within 4 months, he was sound again. Just a leg ulcer lingered likely from lying down too much during the worst days but even that began to heal.
The second time his owners visited, they were so thrilled with his progress that they asked if we could keep him longer. He looked happier here, they said. But I mentioned that I’d soon need his stable for other horses in need of medical assistance.
A few weeks later, they called again. They’d made up their minds, they wanted to give Panzer to J*palouppe. “He just seems happiest there,” they said. By then, I was already in love with him. Always the first to come up for a scratch, endlessly curious and full of energy.
Panzer is a Noriker, a cold-blooded Austrian draft breed once imported by the Indian Army. We kept his name fittingly military: Panzer, after the famous German tank.
He came with some basic schooling and a kind, willing nature. We built on that. His trot is now steady, his canter smooth and he never misbehaves. He is exactly the kind of horse you'd want in a riding school: safe, reliable and sweet natured. He’s become a favourite among the kids.
It’s now been over a year since his full recovery. But Panzer didn’t just recover. He found his home 💛

Started in 1998 by the Mother Son duo Lorraine & Rohan More, J*palouppe today has grown into one of the leading & foremost authority on Equine training in Western India with a marquee list of clientele & successful events under its belt. Spread over a 12 acre facility J*palouppe is the only equestrian facility in the country that provides end to end solutions from riding, breeding of horses, training, education programs, veterinary back up, nutrition consultancy to performance horse management.
The name of the farm is inspired by ‘J*ppeloup', a small French horse who dreamed of big things. By regular standards, J*ppeloup was considered too short to ever succeed in the world of show-jumping. J*ppeloup and his rider Pierre Durand were determined to prove themselves despite being written off by critics as being too small to succeed in show-jumping. Unfazed by the challenges facing them, J*ppeloup and Pierre Durand went on to become legendary in the world of show-jumping, overcoming odds by sheer determination, winning a gold medal in the 1988 Olympic Games.
We at J*palouppe, extend our vision of taking riding to the lay-person with our equestrian consultancy services. At present, our Annual Equestrian Games brings together riders and horses of varying ages. Beyond competitions, the Games also include a workshop component to supplement our holistic vision of pooling together expertise from across the field.
J*palouppe's spectacular growth from being a shared family passion for horses to becoming one of India's largest private horse-riding schools is based on a founding belief– riding is for everyone. Every year, 14,000 riding lessons help train a new generation of young horsemen and women. J*palouppe aims at helping adults and children, both, enrich their lives by developing a trusting relationship with the horse they ride.
