Empathy and Compassion is need of the hour to counter what is happening with these speechless creatures .
With this song I would like to remind every Indian some constitutional provisions that are already there in constitution of India
*Key Constitutional Provisions for Animal Protection*
Article 51A(g) - Fundamental Duty: It is a duty of every citizen of India "to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wildlife, and to have compassion for living creatures".
Article 48A - Directive Principle of State Policy: Mandates that "The State shall endeavor to protect and improve the environment and to safeguard the forests and wildlife of the country".
Article 48 - Organization of Agriculture: Directs the state to organize agriculture and animal husbandry on modern lines and take steps for preserving and improving breeds, specifically prohibiting the slaughter of cows, calves, and other milch and draught cattle.
Article 21 - Right to Life (Judicial Interpretation): The Supreme Court has extended the right to life to include animals, interpreting it to mean that animals have a right to live with dignity and security, free from unnecessary pain.

Humbled and Honoured 🙏
I am deeply grateful to receive the APCRI Young Scientist Award 2025 from the Association for the Prevention and Control of Rabies in India.

This recognition is a reminder of the responsibility we carry in the fight against rabies, and a motivation to continue working harder for a rabies-free India.

My sincere thanks to all mentors (Specially Dr. Omesh Bharti and Dr. Shrikrishna Isloor ) , colleagues, and organizations—especially Humane People NGO, Mission Rabies, and the Department of Animal Husbandry, Himachal Pradesh—who have supported this journey.

Let’s keep pushing forward with science, compassion, and collaboration.

Time to Give Back to My Alma Mater 🙏
Today was a truly special day as I visited my roots — Government Primary School Rampur and Padam Government Senior Secondary School Rampur, where I studied from Nursery to Class 12.

As a token of gratitude, I donated display boards to the School Heads and Principals — a small contribution towards the institutions that shaped my foundation.

Also had the privilege to visit Government Girls School Rampur, where my elder sister completed her education, and made the same contribution there.

It was a heartfelt experience to walk through the same corridors again, meet the current faculty, and relive those memories. Grateful for the opportunity to give back. 🌱📚
