Quality required : Sniffer dog
Dog Breed : Labrador Retriever preferred
Working days : 30 days for dog, 26 days for Dog Handler, 4 days for Dog handler Reliever
Location : Delhi(Gurugram), Mumbai(Bhiwandi), Bangalore(Malur), Kolkata

SOP :
Dog will be deployed for 8 hours in General shifts.
Dog age limit : 2-7 years.
Dog’s fitness test certificate is required to be signed by Local Veternary doctor.
Medical certificate of Dog and the Handler is compulsory. Quarterly check of both is required.
Dog should be initially trained and shall undergo refresh training every two months.
Sniffer dog should be trained to detect all kinds of explosives like RDX,TNT, Gunpowder, etc.
Dog handler will always be accompanied with the dog during his shift hours.
Checking of all Incoming shipments, packs, peoples including trucks, container, vehicles entering by the main gate into premises.
Dog shall carry out rounds to detect explosives, narcotic substances, sense hidden people inside vehicle with the help of hearing aids.
Grooming of dog, maintenance, cleaning of dog kennels, litter will be responsibility of the handler.

Military/Defence background dogs preferred.

*8 Simple Ways to House train Your Dog*

Housetraining your dog can be a challenging experience if you are a first-time pet parent. With care and concern in our heart for your house training woes, we’d like to recommend 8 simple ways to make this phase as rewarding as possible.

*1.* Frame a daily feeding schedule to instill consistent behavior for your dog to eliminate at the right time. This will ensure mealtimes and p**p times are followed regularly. The earlier you begin this practice, the better it will be for a cleaner home environment.
*2.* Put him on a leash and walk him to the nearest spot directed by you every time he wants to relieve himself. This should happen after waking up in the morning, after every meal and just before bedtime. Fix a few outdoor spots for him and place a few small pieces of his stool/urine dusters at these spots. He should do it at these spots only.
*3.* If you prefer he attends nature's call at home, you can walk him to the balcony. Some portions of the balcony can be covered with fine sand for the pet to relieve himself indoors if you stay in an apartment/flat.
*4.* Fix a command for his relieving, e.g. 'POT.’ Every time you take him to the spot, say 'POT' after short intervals. Reward him by saying 'GOOD BOY/GOOD GIRL/GOOD DOG for doing it at the directed spot.
*5.* Correct him by saying 'NO' or ‘VERY BAD' in a firm and loud tone, if he does it anywhere other than these spots.
*6.* When your pet does it right, give him loads of love and attention for good behavior. This can be in the form of pampering or treats. Dogs, like humans, need love and attention. If they are given the same in the right manner, they can be easier to handle. Their health and safety will not be at stake.
*7.* Avoid giving water to your pet for two hours before bedtime. It's important that your pet sleeps peacefully. Generally, dogs can sleep continuously for a period of 5 to 7 hours, however excessive water intake can disturb their sleep patterns.
*8.* Dogs tend to relieve themselves in the same spot again. This is because of residual p**p/urine smell left behind by them earlier. If your dog is not doing it at the right spot, stop him mid-way with a loud clap and say ‘NO’ in a loud and firm tone. Then, take him outside immediately at the designated spot. He may or may not do anything but this will help to remind him that it is the correct place to do it. Let him finish there if at all. Reward him afterward.
