The Japan Blue Endler Guppy is a small and colorful freshwater fish belonging to the Poecilia wingei species. It is a popular choice for aquarium enthusiasts due to its vibrant coloration and relatively easy care requirements.

Here are some key features of the Blue Endler Guppy:

1. Appearance: The Blue Endler Guppy displays a beautiful combination of colors and patterns. Males usually have a striking mix of blue, and turquoise markings on their bodies, while females exhibit more subdued colors.

2. Size: This species is generally small, with males reaching about 1-1.5 inches (2.5-3.8 cm) in length and females slightly larger at around 1.5-2 inches (3.8-5 cm).

3. Behavior: Blue Endler Guppies are peaceful and social fish that thrive in community aquariums. They are known for their active nature and will often swim around the tank, exploring every nook and cranny.

4. Water Parameters: Maintaining the right water conditions is crucial for the health and wellbeing of Blue Endler Guppies. They prefer slightly acidic to neutral water with a temperature range of 72-82°F (22-28°C). A well-filtered tank with regular water changes is necessary to keep them healthy.

5. Tank Setup: Providing a well-planted aquarium with hiding spots and open swimming areas is ideal for Blue Endler Guppies. They are adaptable and can thrive in tanks as small as 5 gallons (19 liters) but do better in larger tanks to accommodate their active behavior.

6. Feeding: Blue Endler Guppies are omnivorous and will happily eat a variety of foods. Their diet should consist of high-quality flakes or pellets, supplemented with occasional live or frozen foods like daphnia or brine shrimp.

7. Breeding: These guppies are prolific breeders and can multiply quickly in a well-maintained tank. If you wish to breed them, it is best to have a separate breeding tank or provide plenty of hiding places for fry (baby guppies) to avoid predation.
